My experience with the Colourpop  Contessa Ultra Glossy Lip

Packaging

The gloss comes in a box that has a floral print…super cute I say! The tube is transparent with a rose print on it. It has a silver cover that closes in the firm.

Shade

The website describes Contessa as a warm gold sprinkled with pink and gold glitter. However, it has sheer coverage and has a very slight pale gold hint to it. It has very tiny gold glitter flakes. It looks lovely on its own but looks amaze when topped onto a matte lipstick..it adds shine and gives a beautiful finish.

Texture

Smooth texture but it has tiny glitter flakes that are not chunky but you can feel them on your lips. However, it doesn’t trouble you when worn.

Hydration

Contessa adds quite a bit of moisture to your lips. It isn’t heavy on the lips and doesn’t feel sticky at all, which is amazing.

Affordability

If you ask me, I’d say that it’s extremely reasonable. In fact, Colourpop as a brand is amazing and so so so affordable.

Travel-Friendly

The tube of the gloss is sleek and the cap fits on perfectly so there’s so chance of a leakage. So great for traveling!

Suitability

Most lip glosses suit all skin tones. And so does this one. But what is amazing about this is that it will look prettiest on dark skin tones as the color will really show through.

What do I not like?

1. The only negative for me would be that it isn’t available in India. So I had to get it shipped to Dubai and then someone carried it to India. So yeah, availability is the only issue.

Definitely. If you can have it shipped to you…go for it!
