Who is it for? Inglot Lipstick Refill 04 is For those looking for a pink-nude like lip shade.
My experience with the Inglot Lipstick Refill 04
Like most refill lipsticks, this one too comes in a metallic square pan that is placed in a firm casing. The back of the pan has the shade name and expiry details mentioned.
It’s a very natural pink, almost nude that will suit like to medium skin tones. On darker skin tones, it might look a little washed out.
The lipstick is creamy and smooth and so it glides on easily even if the lips aren’t moisturized.
While the finish is smooth and not glossy, it does not settle into a matte. The creaminess stays on throughout.
Since it is creamy and does not settle into a matte, the staying power isn’t great. Just a few hours, I’d say. Also, it isn’t smudge or transfer proof.
Now, Inglot is a really good brand and gives great quality. So paying INR 550 is not too much, in my opinion. Totally worth it.
I’d say no. Since it is a refill pan, it comes with no cover, so carrying it around is not possible unless you have the refill palette of 3. I think, brands should come up with a travel casing for refills.
It’s a very nude pink so you can’t expect a lot of colour when applied. But the pigmentation is quite good.
What do I like?
- Smooth texture
- Good pigmentation
- Easy application
What do I not like?
- Not travel friendly
- Doesn’t settle into a matte
- Not transfer proof
- Not smudge proof
- Wear staying power
Would I repurchase & recommend?
Now, I usually prefer using lipsticks that are not glossy and have a slightly matte finish as they last longer. And I also prefer transfer proof products. But, I really love this shade and so I would repurchase for just that. Would I recommend? If you are okay with touching up , then yes.
