We’ve all heard about NYX cosmetics and how good their products are. We’re extremely lucky to have the brand easily available to us now, here in India.

Although the brand is amazing, I don’t own too much from their range. I have no clue why! Recently, when my friend came down to India, she gifted me a lipstick from the brand. And I’m going to talk about just that today. It’s the NYX Glam Aqua Luxe Lipstick in the shade Enchanting. It’s a light pink with a lovely shimmery look.

My experience with NYX Glam Aqua Luxe Lipstick

The Aqua Luxe- Enchanting was added to my vanity a couple of months ago. When I first saw it, I wasn’t too impressed by it as it was shimmery and that’s definitely not my style. My first thought was, this shade is meant for slightly older women. I didn’t even bother doing a swatch at that time.

It was only a few weeks ago, when I was playing makeup that I did the swatch of the shade, and it wasn’t so bad. Even then, I wasn’t really impressed with it and had decided that it was meant for lighter skin tones. A few days later, I decided to try it on, and hey, it did a pretty good job! The shade, when I first applied it, didn’t look so good but it did settle in after a while and looked quite nice. So I was wrong, it isn’t meant just for light tones. In fact, I think it will go well with darker tones than mine if it is carried off well. The thing with this range is that it’s really sheer and doesn’t really have a colour to it. It’s more like a glossy effect with the shimmer. For those who usually like to go all natural and don’t do bright shades, this is one that you can add to your kit.

Enchanting will last you for a minimum of 3-4 hours. I don’t know about longer but that’s how long I kept it on for and it stuck onto me through lunch too. The packaging of the product is average, nothing too fancy. Since the product was creamy, the application was very smooth. Another good thing about this is that it’s extremely lightweight. It does have some grittiness to it when applied, because of the concentrated shimmer, but it doesn’t bother me at all.

The sad thing about this product is that it is not available in India or on Indian websites.

Yes & Yes. If subtle/natural glam is your kind of look, then go ahead and grab this range. I’m going to try and get hold of some other shades from the range too.
