Details about the Philips Kerashine Hair Straightener
Philips is a known name in the electronic beauty accessory department. The specialty of this range are the ceramic coated plates which reduce heat damage on the hair, in addition to that, this particular range of hair Straightener have wider plates which help in straightening our hair quicker and reduces breakage. Apparently, the plates are infused with keratins which add shine to the hair. Last but not the least this Straightener manages to heat up to 210 degrees in 1 minute.

My experience with Philips Kerashine Hair Straightener
The Straightener comes in a cardboard box. The body design is like any other Straightener, it is black in color and easy to hold and use. The design is such that your hand doesn’t get tired while you are straightening your hair.
I have been using this Hair Straightener for the past two years now, so I feel that I am in a position to scrutinize the product and present its pros and cons before all of you. As soon as I told my mom that this Straightener is by Philips, she was impressed. Philips has known for its long-lasting products and its legacy goes back to the time when most of us were not even born. Coming back to this particular product, this Straightener was my first one, so as excited and pumped I was about using it; the product failed to live up to my expectations. I have really curly and frizzy hair, so I need to run the Straightener twice or thrice through my hair to get the poker straight look.
My hair doesn’t become very shiny after I straighten my hair, it becomes smooth but that’s pretty obvious because once you straighten your hair, it tends to get detangled and becomes smooth as a result.
I haven’t faced any hair damages from using the Straightener as such, in fact the wider plates do make the process breakage free, the only thing which bothers me regarding damage is that my hair becomes more frizzy than it usually is after I wash my hair post straightening, however that tames down within a few days so that’s not a big deal.
Coming to the shortcomings, this Straightener does not come with a temperature switch, that is, you cannot set the temperature, the heat depends on the time you keep the Straightener on, that causes a problem because then you need to keep a track of time.
Finally, the price, two years back I bought this Straightener off Amazon for 1300 rupees, at that time, 1300 for a Straightener was not cheap and now they have priced the same Straightener at 2540 which is definitely very pricey. I really feel that there are better cheaper options in the market.
