Upper Lip Hair Removal

1) Turmeric and Milk

Ingredients – 1 tablespoon turmeric and 1 tablespoon milk/water

Steps- Mix turmeric powder with milk or water and apply this paste on your upper lips, leave it for half an hour to dry and wash it off by gently rubbing it.

This should be done once in a few days for a couple of weeks.

Turmeric which is usually used as an active ingredient in beauty regimes cleanses the skin thoroughly and milk which has lactic acid in it tends to exfoliate the skin and moisturize it. Together they help in removing the upper lip hair naturally.

2) Egg White

Ingredients- 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon cornflour, and 1 teaspoon sugar

Steps- Mix all the three ingredients together; whisk it until it forms a thick paste. Apply this paste on the upper lip area, let it dry for 30 minutes and then peel it off. On using it twice a week, within a month you will notice a reduction in the growth of upper lip hair.

Egg white has enzymes that dislodge the hair follicles from its base and also soothes the skin, thus helping in naturally removing the upper lip hair.

3) Chana Dal Flour

Ingredients- 1 tablespoon chana dal flour, a pinch of turmeric and some water

Steps- Mix all the ingredients together and blend it well. The paste that you get after blending the ingredients, apply it on your upper lip area and wait for it to dry. Once it is dry, scrub it off in the direction opposite to the hair growth. This will ensure that the upper lip hair gets removed gently.

4) Lemon and Sugar

Ingredients- 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon sugar

Steps- Squeeze a lemon and add the sugar to it. Mix it well to form a paste. Once it is ready, apply it all over your upper lip area and let it dry for 15 minutes. Once it’s dry, wash it off with water.

This paste can be applied every alternate day. Lemon with its acidic properties acts as a bleaching agent and lightens the upper lip hair whereas sugar exfoliates the skin and loosens the hair follicles so that they easily detach from the skin.

5) Corn Flour and Milk

Ingredients- 1 teaspoon cornflour and 2 tablespoon milk

Steps- Mix both the ingredients together and make a paste out of it. Apply a thin layer of this paste on your upper lip skin, let it dry and then peel it off after drying.

Repeat this process two-three times a week to see noticeable results.

This paste works because the mixture of corn flour and milk will stick to your upper lip area firmly and when you peel it off it will remove the hair too.

6) Yogurt, Gram Flour, and Turmeric

Ingredients- 1 teaspoon gram flour (besan), 1 teaspoon yogurt and a pinch of turmeric

Steps- Mix all the ingredients properly in a bowl, once the paste is formed, apply it on your upper lip skin and massage it well. Let it be for 15-20 minutes and then rub it off gently. Clean the area with cold water after the earlier step is done.

You can apply this paste on your upper lip area twice a week until the time you stop noticing the growth of upper lip hair.

Egg white dislogdes hair follicles ? then why do we use egg in hair mask?

Sone October 13, 2018 - 9:50 AM

Because you don’t let egg hair mask to dry up and harden in your hair right?
Egg white dries up and removing it without water will dislodge any superficial dead skin or fine facial hair.

when we use egg white for hair

1. We don’ t let it dry and harden up
2. We don’t try to remove it dry. We wash it off with water

Confusion sorted? 🙂
