Sensitive skin alert:
It has a very nice mild floral fragrance to it. However, its fragrance fades away after some time of application.
My experience with whitetone face powder:
I got my hands on this product last year and I find it to be a decent face powder. Since I’ve a medium skin tone my experience with it has been good so far.
Texture & finishing:
The texture of this product is really smooth and it blends easily into the skin. However, you need to take a small quantity at first; otherwise, it’ll end up your skin looking ashy.
It blends really well into fair & medium skin tone, but it tends to leave a white cast on the skin of dusky beauties. This is one of the nay factors in this product as it’s not going to suit all the Indian skin tone.
Whitetone face powder comes into a really cute, sturdy & pocket-friendly plastic bottle. It has a flip-flop cap. The only thing I disliked is that it doesn’t come with an applicator. Hence, I’ve to use my hands or have to carry an applicator myself.
Coverage & staying power:
It gives little to medium coverage for 2-3 hours if you have a normal to combination skin. However, it won’t work on oily skin for more than 1-2 hours. It’s also not suitable for dry skin as it makes them look patchy & flaky.
- Cute, pocket-friendly packaging
- Blends into the skin easily
- Helps in setting make-up
- Easily available
- Nice floral fragrance
- Amount of product is long lasting
- Not for dusky & dark skin tone
- Doesn’t go well with oily & dry skin
- No applicator
- Doesn’t stay for more than 2-3 hrs
Would I recommend it?
It’s an overall decent product. I’ll recommend this product only to fair & medium skin tone girls. Dusky beauties should avoid it completely.
