Roses aren’t really my fragrance area – it’s not like I hate the fragrance but then it’s not even a rave on for me. After using the Lux scarlet blossom body wash I was enticed to go ahead and try more variants so I picked up this pretty pink rose body wash i.e Lux Soft Touch Body Wash which is a variant that smells predominantly of roses that too french ones 😛 that me likey 😀

My Experience With Lux Soft Touch Body Wash

Packaging- The product comes in a pretty pink bottle and is sturdy. The packaging is all about convenience and has a screw on cap cum flip top which closes securely.

Texture and Consistency- The product is baby pink in color with a pearly sheen to it. It is quite runny which enables me to spread it over nicely.

Fragrance- Now the fragrance is a very soft rose fragrance. I didn’t feel it was too pungent but at the same time, I would advise this only if you are a rose lover.

Experience- The body wash has a great creamy texture. The spreadability is superb and it produces a heavy lather which you will love to indulge in. A very little amount is required at one time and this bottle can last you very long. The fragrance through a sweet one doesn’t last after the shower unlike the Scarlet Blossom body wash. The body washes don’t rip your natural oils off and do a pretty decent cleaning job. You can easily wash it off as the product comes off quite easily. This is one factor that I think is present in all the body washes from this Lux range that they lather really well and can be washed off pretty easily. The lather they make is foamy and fluffy that proves to be moisturizing after a bath too. The dry skinned people might prefer a body lotion as a follow up though.

  • Doesn’t rip the skin off moisture

  • Packaging is pretty aswell

Cons-

  • Fragrance doesn’t linger on after bath

Would I repurchase and recommend

If you are someone who likes sweet rose fragrances then this body wash is ideal for you otherwise skip it. Does a decent cleaning job as well but I would prefer a body wash that has other notes to its fragrance than rose.

Roses are not my favourite genre of fragrance too so I better skip it :) Your review was a great read and the pictures (specially the roses in the background) were awesome :-)

Sorry Navdita but it just doesnt !! While bathing its divine but then You can sniff your hands and arms and it just isint there after bath!
