I am still a beginner when it comes to eyeshadow looks. I can handle simple one shadow makeup look for the eyes but multiple shadow looks are still puzzled to me. As per my understanding, a perfectly done eye look is dependent on the blending skill. If you could blend the shadows, the entire eye makeup look would fall into place. Oval brushes are in trend these days due to their simple usage method. So, I went ahead and got the Nykaa BlendMaster Eyeshadow Oval Brush. My Experience with Nykaa BlendMaster Eyeshadow Oval Brush

Packaging- This brush has an awesome packaging. It comes in a cardboard box which looks pretty in Nykaa’s signature red-pink pattern. Inside the box, the brush is kept in a plastic casing. The bottom side of the box mentions all the claims and necessary information regarding the brush.

Outlook & Bristle Texture- The body of the brush is made of shiny black plastic. The finger-rest portion of the handle has a matte finish. The logo of Nykaa is embossed in shiny silver. The size of the brush would be 4-4.5 inch approximately. The bristles are synthetic. They are colored in yellow while the bristle tips are brown. The bristles are soft yet firm.

Experience- This brush is meant for both eyeshadow application and crease blending. The flat tip of this dense brush picks the desired amount of color from an eyeshadow pan depending on the texture of the shadow and the pressure you are putting. It applies the shade in the lids evenly. So, I can say it is a good eyeshadow applicator brush. Regarding the crease blending part, it is able to blend eyeshadows with its dense texture. But, the diameter of the brush is smaller than my crease so it takes a bit time to get the crease shadow blended properly. I have washed it 1-2 times with my baby shampoo. The bristles did not shade or bleed color. But, if you could see my close-up pictures of the bristles, you will be able to see a single bristle of bigger size is poking out. This kind of bad finishing is not at all expected from a brand like Nykaa.

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Nykaa BlendMaster Eyeshadow Oval Brush is an above average eyeshadow applicator cum blender brush with dense bristle texture. I just got this last month so it is going to last for a while. Naturally, I will not be buying this again soon. I would recommend this brush to someone who wants to venture into the world of oval brushes.
