Hello peeps! Eyes are supposed to be one of the most dominant features of our face. And there is nothing better to enhance its beauty than using an eye pencil. Indian women look really terrific with kohl. They can always pull it off with absolute ease and panache. However the problem arises when your eyes like mine have less than perfect vision. Wearing spectacles from a small age whatever kohl I wore under my eyes never accentuated my looks and by switching to contacts, there weren’t many good products that didn’t irritate my eyes until now. How to Use:
Glide the gel liner along the lash line from the inner to outer corner of the eye. Apply along the upper lash line. For added drama, line the lower lash line. Eyeliner is easily removed with Maybelline Expert Eyes® 100% Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover or any good oil based makeup remover. The product can be sharpened using a cosmetic sharpener.
My Experience with Maybelline Lasting drama Eyestudio Waterproof Gel Pencil Smooth Charcoal
Initially I was a bit unsure of the product but my fears were soon put to rest. Being a regular contact lens wearer any kind of eye makeup is daunting for me. I try to keep it light and am very cautious about applying any makeup to my lower eye lid lest any makeup goes into my eyes and irritate my it all day long. I decided to give this eye pencil a shot on the recommendation of a friend and I could not be more thankful to her. As smooth as a butter and waterproof, for the first time I felt no irritation in my eyes even though I applied it super near to my lower eye lid. As claimed it stayed put for at least 10 hours without any smudging and I am guessing it could stay for longer with a little amount of fading. It is available in 10 amazing shades and I presently posses the smooth charcoal shade. Since black is always the safest choice and will look good on almost all kind of skin tones. However the trickiest part is the sharpening of this eye pencil. This eye pencil gets eroded faster and hence requires sharpening if you are using it daily. It has to be sharpened very carefully. You can use an elf sharpener. It took me a few attempts to get it right myself. All I can say about it is have patience and you will get it. Alternatively if you pull off the bottom end cap there will be the black plastic with a hole just push a longer sized nail in the hole.

Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?
Yes. I really wish something could be done about the sharpening problem but other than that it’s perfect. Only because of this reason I am unable to give it a 5/5. I am planning to buy cashmere white, soft nude and toffee very soon! I recommend this to all girls who love eye pencil. Give it a shot at least once!
