What is it for and who is it for? TRESemme Split remedy shampoo is for those of us who are religious waiting for some miracle to change our entire hair story by chasing those split ends and preventing it from coming back.
Rs 415 for 580 ml of product.
How to use it:
Apply to wet hair, gently massage and work into a lather. Rinse thoroughly.
My experience with Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo:
The product comes in a black bottle with the range color coded on the front side of the packing.
I had tried the smooth and shine variant in TRESemme which I quite like. Because I was struggling with split ends and dry ends, I thought I should try split remedy from the same brand. The product smells the same as the usual TRESemme shampoos, subtle chemical perfume fragrance, which I like (P.S. I have a sensitive nose). The consistency is the same as well, thick white liquid consistency. The shampoo lathers really well and make your hair smooth and silky which I like the most.
Coming to the main disclaimer part, split ends. It actually doesn’t solve the split end issue. Maybe I would say it kind of prevents the split ends from coming further but not completely getting rid of it. After a haircut, on using the shampoo, I felt it actually delayed my split ends to a bit but not wonder as it claims. Because this makes your soft, basically moisturizes the hair, it makes your scalp to grease a bit from your second day of hair wash.
- Smells good.
- Makes hair smooth and soft.
- Lathers well.
- The huge bottle last really long.
- Easily available.
- Pump packaging.
- Doesn’t do anything for existing split ends.
- Makes scalp greasy.
- Chemical based.
Overall would I repurchase it?
The only benefit I got from this is smooth hair which I experienced with the smooth and shine range. So I would be opting out for that range.
Not a recommended one from my side.
