Lakme Peach Milk Moisturiser Review

by Vaishali Guru

Who is it for? Lakme Peach Milk Moisturiser is for those looking for a good affordable moisturising face lotion.

Lakme Maximum Moisturiser Peach Milk 3

Price: Rs. 110
How to Use:

Smooth onto cleansed skin of face and neck in morning and evening or as desired. Can be worn with or without makeup.

My Experience with Lakme Maximum Moisturiser Peach Milk

I have been using it for over a year and is my favourite moisturiser. I use it every day after cleansing my face. It feels very light and non greasy on my skin and gets absorbed quickly. For summer as well as winter it is good for keeping your skin moisturised and hydrated for a few hours. If you have a sensitive skin, you might want to steer clear of this product as it contains harmful products also such as parabens, mineral oil, perfume, cetyl alcohol, etc.

I like its packaging. It comes in a white bottle with flip open cap which is easy to carry around. It looks faint pink in colour and has a medium consistency like most lotions. Has a nice smell which is not too overpowering. So it’s good for people who want a moisturiser which keeps them hydrated and makes your skin softer and smoother with a healthy glow on your face.

Overall Performance

So overall it’s a good moisturiser for those who are in search of a light weight and hydrating everyday moisturiser. But for sensitive skin it’s not preferable because it contains parabens and can be allergic to sensitive skin. Otherwise it is as good everyday moisturiser for winter as well as summer. But it does not contain sun protection, and that makes it less advisable for summers.

PROS:
  1. Affordable
  2. Easy to carry around
  3. Nice faint smell
  4. Light weight
  5. Gets easily absorbed in skin and keeps hydrated
CONS:
  1. Contains parabens and other harmful chemicals, hence not suitable for sensitive skin
  2. No sun protection

For Sun Protection check out their SPF VERSION HERE.

Would I recommend?

Yes, as I liked the product and it worked for me pretty well. I would suggest it to people having dry to normal skin as well as for oily skin, as it is light weight and not too greasy. It’s almost suitable for every skin type except sensitive skin.

My Experience with VICCO Turmeric WSO Skin Cream

VICCO Turmeric WSO Skin Cream Review 3

I have been using it for a long time and I must say it is better than the chemical cosmetics, as its natural and does what it claims. Although it comes in a very ordinary and unattractive packaging but as they say, “You can’t judge a book by its cover”. What matters is does it really work? Yes, it does. It’s not suitable for all skin types as it kinds of dries out the skin, making it stretchy, so dry skinned people would like to steer clear of this cream. Otherwise, for normal to oily skin, this cream does wonders. It has a very strong and weird smell, which I don’t like. It comes in yellow color and thick in texture but doesn’t make your skin feel greasy or heavy. On applying it gives a matte finish to your face and makes you look natural and youthful.

For dry skinned people, they can use it as well, but it should be used as a moisturizer as it tends to make their skin stretchy. On using it for over a period of time, it brightens your skin, even skin tone and fades scars and blemishes.

VICCO Turmeric WSO Skin Cream Review 4

Overall Performance of VICCO Turmeric WSO Skin Cream

Overall it’s an Ayurvedic cream, which is very effective on scars, blemishes, and acne. The VICCO song completely and appropriately describes the cream. If you have any of these skin issues, then go for it. It is a natural product, so sensitive skin people can use it as well and it totally makes your skin glow naturally and acne-free. This cream has been on my night care routine, it can be used as a day cream as well but I don’t like its smell that’s why I use it as a night cream. It’s totally worth a try.

PROS:

  1. Natural Ingredients
  2. Cures acne, scars, and blemishes effectively
  3. nongreasy and non greasy formula
  4. Gives a matte finish
  5. Inexpensive
  6. Can also be used on cuts, wounds, and burns

CONS:

  1. Has a very strong and agitating smell
  2. Makes skin stretchy for dry skinned people

Would I recommend?

Yes, definitely. Give it a chance to enhance your skin texture and make it free of blemishes and scars. Sensitive skin people can use it as well, but for dry skinned people it’s not recommended, can be used with a moisturizer.

Parachute Advansed After Shower Non Sticky Hair Creme

Hello friends, I’m back with a product that too from a very well-known brand that is Parachute its the Parachute Advansed After Shower Non Sticky Hair Creme . As we all know Parachute is known for products mainly for your hair and that too having coconut in it. So the product I’m reviewing is a hair product, in fact, a hair cream. Well, I am not at all into hair styling products, given my dry and undernourished hair! But I thought of giving it a try and let’s see how it worked for me.

Parachute Advansed After Shower Non Sticky Hair Creme

Price: Rs. 40
Directions For Use: Take a small amount of the product and apply it to the lengths of your hair.

My Experience with Parachute Advansed after Shower Non-Sticky Hair Creme

Packaging:

The packaging of this after shower hair cream is very convenient. It comes in a blue opaque tube form. It’s easy to use, easy to carry and easy to store. And can squeeze appropriate amount you want to use.

Fragrance:

The moment you open it, a very strong smell attacks your senses! The smell is refreshing to me. It has a nice aqua fragrance which lasts for some while giving a nice refresh feel. As they say, it’s zingy! After application, the smell becomes quite faint but still, people with sensitive noses should stay away from it.

Texture and Consistency:

The texture is creamy and light with medium to a thick consistency and gives a smooth and light finish.

Experience:

I have used it a few times and I don’t really like it as it tends to make my hair kind of stiff like what gel does. And it also makes my hair oily. I thought it would tame my dry and frizzy hair but it didn’t. Maybe for men, it’s a good product as they tend to use hair styling products and it’s a one with the goodness of coconut oil and is nonsticky. But for me, I’m not going to use it as this product does nothing good for my hair. And also for people with a sensitive nose, keep a distance from this product as it has a very strong smell but it tends to faint a bit after application.

Parachute Advansed After Shower Non Sticky Hair Creme 4

PROS:
  1. Travel-friendly packaging
  2. Inexpensive
  3. Goodness of coconut
  4. Nice and pleasant smell that covers the smell of sweat or other odor.
  5. Gives smooth and light finish
CONS:
  1. False claims
  2. Contains parabens.
  3. For people with the sensitive nose, the smell is a bit strong initially.
  4. Regular use can damage hair texture.

This is an average product and it doesn’t do much for your hair except for making it oily and stiff. But for the price and it’s not sticky quality, it could be men, who are in search for an affordable hair cream. As far as I am concerned I wouldn’t ever buy it and would recommend all not to depend too much on stuff like hair creams!

Would I recommend?

Definitely no!! I am never ever going to buy any hair styling product like this. I would not recommend it to anyone. Please don’t torture your hair with all these kinds of products.

Lotus Herbals White Glow 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Skin Whitening Facial Foam Review 1

Today I am here with a new product by Lotus that is amazing. It’s the Lotus Herbals White Glow 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Skin Whitening Facial Foam. This brand brings for you this whole range of whitening and brightening products, and among those, I have brought for you the whitening facial cleanser, which is a foam face wash. I don’t generally use any skin whitening products because I don’t think those products can make a great difference. But seeing the aloe Vera extracts in this particular one, I wanted to try it. Let’s see how it worked for me.

Lotus Herbals White Glow 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Skin Whitening Facial Foam Review

What the Brand Claims

WHITEGLOW 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Skin Whitening Facial Foam deep cleanses your skin, brightens it and prevents melanin production that causes skin darkening. The result – you have brighter radiant skin.

Enriched with minerals, milk enzymes, aloe Vera gel, this facial foam gently eliminates excess sebum, dirt and impurities as well as make-up residues that cause dullness and dry skin, revealing refreshing brighter and glowing skin. Made with natural ingredients, contains no harmful chemicals.

Lotus Herbals White Glow 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Skin Whitening Facial Foam Review 2

My Experience with Lotus Herbals White Glow 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Skin Whitening Facial Foam

It comes in a white tube with a silver flip open cap. It is pretty tight avoiding any leakages. So it is easy to carry around. It has a mild fruity smell, which I like and the consistency is runny. Small quantity is enough to clean your face. The one thing I like about this product is it gives an instant fresh feeling imparting a little glow to the face. It leaves the skin very clean after washing. It lathers well but not great. You need more water to take out the whole foam from your face. And the other thing is that, lotus being an herbal brand I did not expect parabens and other harmful chemicals in it. So this thing is a bit disappointing. Sometimes it dries out my skin. So I prefer this face wash in summers because skin gets oilier in summers. And I don’t suggest this face wash for dry skin people. It does not stand on its claim of being made with natural ingredients as it contains parabens and is not soap free. And also it is not suitable for all skin types as it claims to be.

  • Convenient packaging.
  • Cleanses up the skin very well.
  • Lathers well
  • Nice fruity fragrance.
  • Brightens up the skin.
  • Only a little amount is needed every time you wash your face.

CONS:

  • Contains parabens
  • Not soap free
  • Not suitable for dry skinned people
  • Doesn’t stand up to its claims
  • A bit pricey for the quantity

Would I recommend?

Yes, I would recommend it to all normal to oily skinned people, as it has been good for me. The fragrance of the face wash is awesome and yes, it really cleans the face effectively and gives a brighter look after each wash.

My Experience with VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream

I started using this product because my main concern was my mild dark circles that I developed due to ignorance. So I just needed a product which would do that for me while moisturizing the skin under the eye. I came across this product and tried it and it kind of lightened the dark circles within the application of few weeks.

It comes in a cute little jar and has a soothing almond-like fragrance, which I really love. It is white in color and looks thick in texture but spreads very well and gets absorbed in the skin, it is also not too oily. And the best thing about it is that it also gives a cooling effect when applied. But, it doesn’t stand on its claims. As it does not fade the dark circles completely even after regular use for about 3-4 months.

VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream 2

Overall Performance of VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream

Pros:

  1. Easily available
  2. Moisturises and gives a cooling effect on the application.
  3. Easy to apply and use.
  4. Affordable
  5. Not too oily or greasy.
  6. Travel-friendly.

Cons:

  1. Only lightens the dark circles, does not fade them away completely.
  2. Comes in a glass jar, which is unhygienic.

Overall Performance of VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream

The claims made by the brand are not completely true, as it does not fully eliminate the dark circles; it just lightened them to some extent. So if you have notable dark circles, I would not recommend this product to you. Otherwise, if you have mild dark circles like me, then surely go for it, as it worked for me.

Would I recommend or repurchase it?

It worked for me. So I would only recommend it to those who have mild dark circles. Don’t go for it if you have prominent dark circles because it does not completely fade them, it only lightens them a bit. I would rate this product 3/5, as it doesn’t do what it claims. So, for visible dark circles, it’s totally not recommended.
