Though the formula is ayurvedic there are cleanser base and preservatives present. So, the composition is not completely natural or organic.

My Experience with Ayush Anti Pimple Turmeric Face Wash

Packaging- This face wash comes in a translucent matte plastic tube. The tube has a flip-open mechanism to dispense the product. Label graphics is done is muted yellow and brown. Overall the packaging is very aesthetic and sturdy. The face cleanser is available in two sizes. I bought the smaller size and this one is very travel-friendly.

Colour & Texture- The face cleanser has light yellow color and translucent gel formula. The gel is thicker than most other gel-based face washes. Once it is applied on the skin with a gentle massage of wet hand it creates very minimal thick lather. It does not take too much water to get rinsed and my skin does not feel stretchy afterward.

Fragrance- This face wash has a fabulous soothing smell to it. The fragrance reminds me of incense sticks. I am almost sure that the fragrance is the result of some artificial flavoring agents but still, I like its calming nature. A mild hint of fragrance lingers for about 20-25 minutes.

Experience- As I mentioned before, this was my first product from this brand. So, I did not know what to expect from it. This one is for a pimple related issues (prevention and cure to be precise) and I have pretty pimple-prone skin. Majority of acne washes wash off my skin’s natural moisture along with the excess oil and the skin becomes dry. This one does not do that to me. It is gentle on my skin and did not bring about any irritations on the sensitive areas of my face. After towel drying my face does not feel stretchy. It cleanses the skin well without leaving behind any residue. It did not cause me new breakouts but active pimples cured on their own pace. So, in plain and simple words it is a nice everyday face wash that works for every type of skin; nothing special to be expected. However, the fragrance is amazing and I keep sniffing my face often after each application. I think I need to get a hand washes from this range! Just one thing I would like to mention here, there is no detail provided about what the brand is using in the cleansing base of this product. It’s a con for me since I always check the detailed ingredient list and ban every possible pore clogging product to stay acne-free.

I think I would repurchase Ayush Anti Pimple Turmeric Face Wash for its soothing fragrance. Besides, it does cleanse well and does not cause new acne. If you are someone who wants a good smelling budget face wash then you re welcome to try it; just do not expect any pimple reduction or prevention!
