Who is it for? Briogeo Shampoo is especially suited for those with oily hair. Also great if you use hair products and suffer from the bad effects of product buildup in your hair.If you have a flaky scalp that is itchy, this is again an excellent choice.
Price:
$ 42 for 8oz
How to use:
Apply to moist hair. Massage the scrub in gently yet effectively. Leave it on hair for 5-10 minutes. I use this every Sunday. I apply it and leave on hair while I proceed with a body scrub. It’s my own little ritual J
Any Sensitivity Alert?
If you are allergic to peppermint, skip this.
My experience with Briogeo Shampoo: Scalp Revival with Charcoal
Packaging: Comes in sturdy tub packaging. Not very hygienic but I have made my peace with it 🙂
Texture/ Consistency: Surprisingly, it has a very runny texture. It has minute soft scrub particles in it. Easy to apply and spread all over the scalp.
Fragrance: Smells of peppermint candy and it feels slightly cool on the application. Not too much.
Does it Effectively Remove Oil: Yes! It is excellent. It gently removes all oil and buildup. In fact, I insist you get a good head massage and leave the oil to seep in for a couple of hours. Thereafter wash your hair with this. You will be left with soft soft hair! I don’t even use a conditioner or hair mask after this!
What did I like about it?
- Easy to use
- Cleans the scalp very effectively
- Removes oil and buildup without drying the hair out
- Little goes a long way
What didn’t I like?
- It is pricey for sure…!
Would I recommend?
Absolutely. This is hands down the best shampoo I have used till date!

The concept of scalp scrub is entirely new to me.. Plus this brand is also new to me..
Loved to read about it.. :good: :good: :good: for the review..
You have super long hair and the texture of your hair looks wavy/curly in the pictures. Please share how you maintain your hair’s health. I always find it hard to maintain my hair and that’s why I get maximum breakage..
I hardly use conditioners.
I suggest you oil your hair 2 hours before wash and use a shampoo like this.
If at all you want to condition only condition the strands and not the scalp.
Ve sure to include omega 3 and natural biotin in your diet.
Also never use mehendi…I have seen it does more damage than good to your hair in the long run.
I cannot cut my hair, never have. So I never style my hair…no hair straighteners or curlers…maybe that also helps to avoid damage :haanji :haanji
WOW!! Amazing review!! Never to use Mehendi is a really new tip for me!! Thank you!! :rose: :love 🙂

Thanks for sharing these tips. Now I know what damages my hair.
I am going to stop using henna. I have a hair styling kit but I only style my hair 2-3 times a year. I am going to stop that as well.
Wow!
Removes oil build up without drying the hair!
