I am reviewing a cult product all over; this lip balm and the brand are like the most hyped stuff IMO. It was a gift to me from a very dear friend, and I have used the lip balm lovingly, but have never been able to understand why it is so hyped.
What is it and who is it for?
This is clear honey based lip balm and seems very light and natural on the lips. Dry lips, pay attention, this is for you for sure.

What does the Brand Claim about Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm?
Loved by nature and perfectly sweet. Kind of like you. This natural balm helps nourish your dry lips with a touch of golden Honey and Vitamin E, leaving them soft, supple and super happy.

How to use:
My Experience with Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm
This is very normal looking lip balm, no color, a not-so creamy lip balm within a screw up case. There is hardly any lip balm the lips rendered even when you swipe it on and on. There is no layer on the lips at all, this makes me feel that dry lips will like to use since it won’t cake up on the lips, for my normal lips, it seemed very much like Lotus Herbals lip balms. This is nothing different
I do wish it were softer but having said that, the product seems to last ages and also not slip off the lips soon enough, this makes it ideal for bedtime. I think it smells quite natural and normal and I did not find it sweet or anything.
It seems great as a lipstick base since it does not form a layer; it feels like wearing no lip product. It repairs the dryness on the lips if any, but flaky lips will like the fact that this does not get stuck in the cracks, since this is not a very creamy balm.
Positives of Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm
- Light, natural
- Not cakey
- Nice lipstick base
- Nourishes lips overnight for my normal lips
- Available at Sephora India
Negatives of Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm
- feels nothing different than other balms
- no honey like feel
- not sweet like mentioned
Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?
Well, no, lotus herbals lip balms seems just very comparable to this one try them too.
