My experience with the Ciate Glitter Flip Fortune

Packaging

The lipstick tube is a transparent plastic which allows you to see the shade inside.

Application

It comes with a doe foot applicator which makes it easy to put it on the lips. However, though, it is hard to get a precise line with it and so using a lip liner would be a good idea.

Shade

The shade is a beautiful metallic matte purple with the glitter, obviously! The glitter pops through after you press your lips together, such an interesting innovation. It glides on super smooth but does get a little patchy.

However, though, you won’t really be able to tell that it’s patchy due to the dark color.

After applying the shade, you need to wait for a minute or two and then press your lips together. And Bam! The glitter pops. The glitter specks make such a difference to the lipstick and make it more wearable.

Feel

The texture doesn’t feel like there’s any glitter but after a few hours of wearing it, you do feel it a little.

Staying Power

In terms of longevity, it lasts for quite a while. However though, if you are eating anything oily, the inner parts of the lip do tend to look patchy.

What I really like about the brand is that the products are paraben free and this particular product is vegan.
