This time Lakme is here to take you back to your childhood days with its latest in town, the Enrich Lip Crayons range. So, GlossyPolish gave us a chance to review this newbie which are real, really affordable. I loved two shades from this range, Shocking Pink and the one I will be reviewing i.e. Mauve Magic. Yeah, yeah, the name is so tempting!

I really can’t wait to tell you how great this lip crayon is.

How to use?

Start by lining your outer lips, just the way you use a lip liner. After that, start coloring your upper and lower lips evenly throughout.

My experience with Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Mauve Magic

Packaging: You will instantly become nostalgic the moment you look at this lip crayon because it resembles the crayons we used to color with. I believe Lakme succeeded in playing with our minds!

So the packaging is quite attractive and will take you back to your childhood days.

Shade: The shade is mauve pink. I believe it to be a darker version of the basic pink color. Also, there is a lovely fragrance that will keep you fresh all day long. I am in love with the fragrance!

Texture: You will actually feel like coloring your lips because of the texture of this crayon. The texture is creamy with a matte finish. But it transfers a lot.

Staying power: The color stays for 5-6 hours if you don’t eat anything and when it fades, the leftover shade looks really good. But as you know we Indians love oily food, this thing can’t be ignored that the color will fade whatsoever!

Experience: I guess this lip crayon is a good affordable option for people who love to collect all the shades. The color stays for a decent period of 5-6 hours. But after eating anything, obviously, the color fades and you will need to touch up. The pigmentation is good enough and the color payoff is amazing. Really amazing!

As claimed, they have olive and jojoba oils which can be felt because of the creamy texture. And, credit also goes to Shea and cocoa butter too.

Overall performance of Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Mauve Magic

Okay….I love the fragrance; I swear to god I can wear it day and night just for its fragrance. 😛

Apart from the fragrance, I loved the shade too, though it is not proper mauve but still acceptable. With good staying power combined with a matte finish and yes fragrance, I will give it a green flag.

Provided the fact that these lip crayons are super affordable with many funky shades for this summer, I will only say what one of my fellow writers said, “Try Karo”. 😉
