Call it addiction, call it madness! Most of us use a foundation every single day. Lakmé Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé is one such product from Lakmé Skin Tints range. I have tried out the shade “Shell” from this range. Let’s see how it if worked for me.
Table of Contents
What is it and who is it for?
Light subtle foundation for instant glow with sun protect which easily blends in naturally. Available in three different shades. Non-water resistant, however stays on for 3-4 hours easily. It is for someone who wants to use a foundation on daily bases at a reasonable price. Best for people who have a flawless skin as it doesn’t give any coverage. Shell shade is best suited for slightly dusky skin tones like me!

What does the Brand Claim about Lakmé Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé?

My Experience with Lakmé Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé
This foundation is light and subtle for an instant glow. It’s not heavy or cakey. It does not give any coverage [neither it claims so]. It doesn’t conceal your dark circles but lightens them. It also provides sun protection.
It is non water resistant, not suitable in hot and humid climate. However, it stays on for 3-4 hours.
It leaves patches on dry areas. If your skin is not flawless already then this is not your right choice. If your skin is already smooth and you are looking for something just to tone up your skin, you can go with this.
Shell is best suited for slightly dusky skin tones. It is also available in Pearl and Marble shades.
Positives of Lakmé Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé
- Brightens your skin for daily use
- Used to lighten the under eye area too
- Thick consistency and easily blends in with the skin.
- Not too heavy or cakey
- Claims to have sunscreen
- Suited for slightly dusky skin tone [other shades are also available: pearl and marble]
- Stays for 3-4 hours
- Worth the price
Negatives of Lakmé Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé
- No coverage [doesn’t claim though], so it’s patchy on dry areas
- Not water resistant
- Need to dip the fingers, because it’s a tub.
- Ingredients are not mentioned.
Overall would I Repurchase and Recommend?
No, prefer BB creams to this product. Definitely a good buy for someone with flawless skin and is looking for some inexpensive foundation as it doesn’t give any coverage. Does everything it claims though.
