My Experience with Maybelline Red Rush, Choco Latte, Wine Festival, and Coffee Break
The lipstick comes in black shiny plastic packaging. The plastic is kind of cheap but for the price, we can’t expect more. The lipstick cap can crack easily. These lipsticks have a color band in the center. The color band represents the color family. The color shade and number is given at the bottom of the packaging. The ingredient list and name of the range are printed on the outer wrapper. The details are to be discarded along with the wrapper when the wrapper cover is removed.
Texture and pigmentation:
This lipstick is creamy in texture and has good pigmentation. It stays very light on the lips and moisturizes the lips without a lip balm underneath. The texture is smooth for application. The lipstick is creamy and looks glossy on lips. To get the actual pigmentation on the lipstick 2-3 swipes is enough.
The lipstick stays for about 3 to 4 hours and needs a touch up for every 3 hours. It tends to fade away from the centre after 3 hours.
RED RUSH: This is a red shade with much of orange undertone. This shade is highly pigmented. I liked single swipe of the lipstick. But
CHOCOLATTE: this shade is more of a pink than brown. It has got very little brown and blue undertone and it is a neutral shade for medium skin tone and it looks very pretty on the lips. This shade is my favorite shade in the range. The name of the shade is misleading actually.
COFFEE BREAK: This shade sticks to its name. It is a dark brown shade (chocolate brown) with a little blue undertone. It is a party/traditional shade and it would suit all the skin tone.
WINE FESTIVAL: It is a deep wine shade. This is also a party/traditional shade and suits every skin tone. This is one of my favorite fall shade as well.
