The Plum Chamomile & White Tea Sheer Matte Day Cream SPF50 that I am reviewing today was an online impulse buy , to avoid extra shipping 😛 I was traveling and thought ok, let me order this sunscreen, what harm could it do. I mean, great SPF, what else is needed right?

My Experience with Plum Chamomile & White Tea Sheer Matte Day Cream SPF50
The cream comes in a tube packaging. Convenient, sturdy and easy to carry around. All great?
Here is my issue with it:
The cream has a very dry texture…how do I put it? It does not spread easily and gets absorbed into the skin the way I like it to.
It is mattifying, maybe the very oily skin types will like it.I have combination skin and this just didn’t work for me. It pronounced the dry patches and just did not feel great.I like the creams to blend into the skin and just feel right.
But this one? Nope.
The brand claims it is :
Great for: Normal, slightly dry and combination skin types
Not recommended for: Very dry, oily and acne-prone skin types—(Why is it called Mattifying then?)
BUT, I think the opposite is true.
At the expense of being repetitive, this to me just felt meh. Not worth the money.
Overall Performance of Plum Chamomile & White Tea Sheer Matte Day Cream SPF50
Pros-
- Keeps oil at bay
- High SPF
Cons-
- Very drying
- Does not spread easily
- I feel it is just pricey(personal opinion 🙂 )
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
Personally, it was a miss for me. The texture and finish are just off for me.I wouldn’t recommend.
