Who is this for? Sebamed Anti Dry Revitalizing Shampoo is for those who have dry hair. I have long waist length hair and am forever looking at hair nourishing treatments. In winter, my scalp becomes dry. To avoid the development of dandruff and to keep my hair soft and silky, I need a moisturizing shampoo. I had a very good experience with the Sebamed Face wash. So when I saw this Anti-Dry Revitalizing Shampoo by the same brand; I was really excited to use it! Let’s see how this shampoo actually turned out for me.

Sebamed Anti Dry Revitalizing Shampoo

Price: Rs 990 for 200 ml
Sensitive Skin Alert?No.
How to Use: Massage into wet hair, lather, and rinse.

My Experience with Sebamed Anti-Dry Revitalizing Shampoo:

The shampoo comes in a standard oval bottle. It is travel-friendly.

The texture of the shampoo is like a runny gel. One has to be careful not to take too much.

My Experience:

I dilute the shampoo in a quarter of water mug. Then apply evenly to the scalp in massaging movements. This shampoo lathers really well, leaving the hair with a clean feeling. Somehow, that is not enough for me. This shampoo does nothing great for the hair that a Rs 90 shampoo does not do. My hair does not feel especially soft or shiny after using it. In fact, if possible, it dries my hair even further. Normally my hair is not that dry….I mean it’s dry but not like straw or anything. Using the Forest Essential’s Shampoo keeps it nice and soft…this shampoo though…just does not work for me.

I have finally kept this shampoo for taking out the oil in my hair after an oil spa. It works perfectly for that! While trying out a lot of experiments, I found a great solution for dry hair. Once a week wash your hair with Olay Age Defying Body wash!! Trust me, it will make your hair soooooo super soft…no need for conditioner 🙂

  1. Takes out oil from hair effectively
  1. Not worth the money
  2. Dries the hair out
  3. Leaves hair frizzy
Would I repurchase and recommend?

No. I really feel there is nothing special in this shampoo to spend Rs 990 on it! Utter waste of money.2.5/5 disappointingly average. Did any of you girls feel disappointed by any product, this way?
