Everyone must have, by now, understood that I am a huge body shop fan. There is one thing which I would honestly love to tell, some of the products in body shop are extremely hyped up, they are not worth it and the price, but still they are hyped. But some products genuinely are amazing. I am not a big fan of the skin care line, but the cosmetic range is indeed amazing. They have a very wide range of foundation shades and natural colored lipsticks. The staying of the lipstick is not commendable since it doesn’t contain lead. Lead and other products are major ingredients used in lipsticks to give them the dark sheen and long lasting power. Today, I will be reviewing the fresh nude foundation from body shop in the shade 050.

Here, I will be providing a few tips on how to choose the perfect foundation to match your skin tone and blend easily to give a natural, dewy finish.

The brand claims to give a natural, dewy look to the skin without making it look cakey, oily or ashy, thereby making it look flawless. It has been enhanced with English rose water and aloe vera. This is a hydrating foundation which leaves the skin beautifully fresh and comfortable. It also contains spf 15 which helps protect the skin. It gives a semi-matte finish and comes in 16 shades. They provide 24 hour moisturization and give light to medium coverage. Out of the 16 shades, 7 are nature-inspired shades.

How to use

Take 2 to 3 pumps (or less or more) and dab it on the skin. After this step, take a beauty blender or a foundation brush and slowly blend it in the upward direction until it is fully absorbed by the skin.

Packaging

It comes in a cute, pump bottle and avoids contamination. The pump is closed with another cp on top. The foundation is in a glass bottle, hence it needs some attention and care.

Experience

My experience with almost all the body shop products has indeed been amazing. This product is no different. It does what it claims. It provides 24 hour moisturization and gives a flawless look. 2 pumps is suffecient to cover the whole face as well as the neck. It doesn’t become oily (since I have extremely oily skin) or cakey. Since it provides a semi-matte finish, there is no need to apply a setting powder on top of it.

Yes, it is a little expensive, but one bottle goes a long way, even if it is used daily. Also, it doesn’t have any kind of side effect on the skin and can be used by people that have the most sensitive skin as well.
