My experience with the Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette
It is a perfect palette as it covers matte shades, shimmery shades, and sparkly shades. It starts from a flat nude eyeshadow called foxy to shimmery shades and ends at perfect black eyeshadow called blackout which is perfect for a smokey eye.Blackout has great pigmentation and almost feels like charcoal as it is really dark. The Matte shades are Foxy, Tease, Blackout, the neutral ones are called Bootycall, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, Busted and the Glittery shades are called Half Baked, Chopper, and YDK.My personal favorite shades out of the 12 are chopper and half-baked.Chopper is a shimmery copper color but the drawback to it is that is prone to falling out.The palette being so famous and expensive is expected to stay for a long time and not fall-out.Half baked is a brownish shade with copper shimmer which has a smooth texture. The naked 1 palette also includes the half-baked shade. A long mirror and a 2 sided brush are also included in the palette which has soft bristles. The eyeshadow shades are highly pigmented and are the last longing. It comes with a strong and sturdy packaging of a metal box.
Overall Performance of Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette
Pros:
- Smooth texture
- Very pigmented
- Blends easily
- Covers all the essential shades
- Long-lasting
- Double-sided brush with soft bristles
- Sturdy and safe packaging, good for traveling purposes
- Has a big mirror attached
- No creasing
Cons:
- Expensive
- Fall-out of shimmer
- Needs more matte shades
Would I recommend this product?
All in all, The palette is of good quality and covers both warm and cool tones. Some intense and dramatic shades are also included which makes the palette perfect for all kinds of looks. So I would rate this 4/5 and I would totally recommend the product.Although if you already own Naked 1 palette, then you may not buy this because the shades are somewhat similar in both the palettes. Plus, Lorac Pro Palette is definitely better!
