Petroleum jelly commonly known as Vaseline is something that we all have lying around in the house. We might use it as a lip balm or rub it on our hands but we never thought of it as a magic ingredient which could solve our petty little girly problems. So here are with all the unusual Vaseline Uses, which will convince you to buy 5-6 jars more of this wonderful ointment!

#1 The Perfect manicure
If you are a sloppy painter and end up staining your skin with the nail paint this is for you! Line your nails and the area around them before applying the paint. This will keep the Paint off your skin.

#2 Stuck zippers
Dab a cotton bud with Vaseline and apply it on the zipper. This is better than applying wax to your zipper.
#3 Makeup stains remover
Smeared your favorite top with makeup?? Doesn’t worry rub a little Vaseline over it and then wash it off and it will look as if the stain was never there.
#4 Protect the hairline
While dying or coloring your hair rub Vaseline along your hairline and ears. This will prevent your hairline from staining and irritation.

#5 Shining shoes and bags
Dab a small amount to your shoes or bags and rub it briskly with a cloth for a lovely shine.
#6 Makeup remover
Run out of your makeup remover?? You don’t need to rush off to the store. Vaseline is really slick and smooth and removes makeup ever so gently. I personally love to remove eye makeup with it.
#7 Glue Remover
It’s pretty hard to pull off those fake eyelashes but not anymore…a dab of Vaseline makes it really easy to remove those lashes without hassle.

#8 Night cream for super dry skin
Warm up some Vaseline in the microwave for a few seconds and let it cool down a little then use it as a night cream. It fills in all the cracks and heals your skin beautifully. However, don’t use it if you break out a lot because this stuff is thick.
#9 Lipstick Stains
Apply a little Vaseline to your teeth before applying lipstick. This will keep the teeth clean from the lipstick stains.
#10 Smile more
Rub a little Vaseline on your teeth and smile more. Vaseline avoids your lips from sticking to your teeth and hence you can smile a lot more freely.

#11 Excellent scrub
Mix Vaseline with salt or sea salt for exfoliation.
#12 Soft Lips!!
Apply a little Vaseline to your lips and gently scrub away with a soft toothbrush (gently!!) and have Supp PPE Errr soft lips!

#13 Eyebrow Gel
Apply (a very small amount) of Vaseline to your eyebrows and then brush them with a comb and get all your brow hair into place.
#14 Shaving and waxing
Excellent stuff to put on your legs or hands after you shave or wax them. Super nourishing and nonirritating. Moisturizers sometimes give you that tingling feeling and burn your freshly shaved skin. Vaseline, on the other hand, feels great!
#15 Eye cream
Apply it to your eye area to hydrate it. Also, check out my DIY dark circle remover made with Vaseline.
#16 Foot cream
Repair those cracked heels with Vaseline. Apply Vaseline and put on socks before going to bed. I feel Vaseline is just so thick and hydrating that it fills up all cracks and pampers your skin.
#17 Easy opening of nail polish
The cap often gets stuck in the bottle and we have a hard time trying to open it up.Smear the neck of the bottle and the inside of the lid with Vaseline and there you are – problem solved!

#18 Highlighter and Blush
Except for all these bizarre uses you can also use Vaseline to highlight your face and cheekbones, mixing it with a lipstick ( organic ) can give you a glowy natural looking blush ( I personally love this one)
#19 Smooth Jewelry Wear
Apply it to your earlobes to slip in those earrings.You will realize the difference, how comfortable it will be to wear those earrings, especially if you have small ear piercings!
