Before I start my review on this Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit I would like to tell you girls what exactly contouring means. Thanks to lot of makeup artists and beauty bloggers, everyone is being makeup cautious and expert these days. Contouring is basically enhancing the features of the face by giving your face a chiseled look. Kind of an illusion done in a subtle manner keeping in mind ‘Makeup is an art’.

What does the Brand Claim about Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit:

This best-selling, easy-to-use palette contains three highlighting and three contouring shades that work together to help you sculpt, define, and enhance your natural features. Create the illusion of higher cheekbones, a smaller forehead, a softer jaw line, or a slimmer nose with these smooth, velvety formulas that blend seamlessly while imparting a subtle, dewy sheen.

How to Use:

Always contour after applying your base. The areas you want to press out you highlight with a light base, banana shade is generally used for highlighting. Thus, the areas you want to press in are contoured with a darker shade which would be cinnamon/chocolate depending on the skin tone. To blend your contour and highlight damp sponge or brush can be used.

My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit:

This particular contour kit has served my purpose of getting rid off the face fat and looking prim and proper after I sculpt my face evenly with it.

It has 6tones to it starting from 1) Banana 2) Cream 3) Warm coral 4) Nude 5) CINNAMON 6) Chocolate. For my skin I use warm coral to correct the dark circles on me or a client’s face, moving on to banana shade I use it to highlight my areas which I want to brighten and I contour those parts where I want to draw the attention away using chocolate shade.

I always make sure edges are blended well so that there is no sharp division between lighter and darker tone.In the end I use a clean powder brush to apply a coat of settling powder to my entire face.
