Aroma Magic Cucumber Sunscreen Lotion Review

Hey people,

I have always used Lotus sunscreens and hardly ventured past them. Even if I did, I always went back to them. I wanted to try from a different brand and saw this on the counter. Its claims of paraben and oxybenzone free attracted me.  Finding sunscreen without oxybenzone is really hard in India. Aroma magic is always a hit or miss for me. Let’s see how this Aroma Magic Cucumber Sunscreen Lotion fared:

How to Use:

Knead the tube with your hands and give a good shake as natural ingredients tend to separate. Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure for desired protection. Use ½ Tsp. for face and 1 tsp. for the body.

 

My experience with the Aroma Magic Cucumber  Sunscreen Lotion:

The sunscreen comes in a very cute lime colored squeeze tube. I really like the beach theme designs on the packaging. Drugstore brands should learn from aroma magic as to how affordable products doesn’t mean boring packaging.  This will look perfect for a beach bag. I appreciate how the product is devoid of harsh chemicals. The sunscreen is white in color with a lotion consistency. It smells quite strong typically like a sunscreen but the scent dries down.

I use it as per instructions and find that it takes few minutes to absorb. It is not greasy and sits well under makeup. It has both UVA and UVB protection so that is good. SPF 30 is good enough for winters. I didn’t find any lightning of scars but it does brighten my face. If you don’t take time in blending, it will give a white cast. The quantity is good for the price.

Would I recommend the Aroma Magic Cucumber  Sunscreen Lotion?

I would recommend this product to people who are looking for sunscreens without parabens and oxybenzone. For me, it is good but not the best so this will last the winter season for me.
