Avon has a separate range of products for acne-prone skin. It is called the clear skin range. I purchased their clearskin invisible blemish corrector to see if it really works on acne and pimples. I do not have a lot of breakouts but once in a while, I do get pimples which tend to be painful. The one thing I have found out about dealing with pimples is that the faster you act on them, the faster they will go away. If they start getting bigger, then there is no hope! You will have to live with them for at least a week.

So this Avon Clearskin Blemish Corrector is supposed to help suppress the pimple in its track and make it go away.

How to use?

Cleanse the skin thoroughly and apply a thin layer of this medication onto the affected area. Since peeling of the skin may occur, begin by applying this liquid only once a day. Slowly, you may apply it 2-3 times a day to see effective results.

My experience with Avon Clearskin Blemish Corrector

As mentioned, I use this corrector only as a spot treatment. So whenever I feel painful eruptions on my face, I immediately clean my skin and apply this directly to that area.

The packaging of this corrector is a small tube and it comes with an applicator brush which you can use for the application. The tube is quite tiny and you can carry it anywhere.

It has a thick texture and it is not invisible at all. You can clearly see a white liquid with some green tint to it. But I do not mind that. It has no particular fragrance as well.

Coming to the actual function, it claims to reduce pimples and my god! It really does that! Within a few hours of its application, I find that a pimple has reduced and the pain is also going away which is a sure sign of the pimple healing.

I apply this 2-3 times on the pimples and I did not notice any skin peeling. The way this works is that it dries out a pimple to reduce inflammation and if you apply this unnecessarily then you may experience dryness.

Remember, this is not for scarring but only for an active breakout.

Needless to say, this product is amazing and you should give it a try if you experience acne breakouts.
