My Experience with Avon Lipstick | Gold Lipstick | Golden Raisin

Packaging – The lipstick comes in a transparent plastic covering. The cover of the lipstick is gold which gives the product a very fine finish. The lipstick looks very pretty and attractive. The overall packaging is sturdy and it has twist mechanism. After opening the lipstick, you can clearly see the gold looking particles in the lipstick.

Color and texture – The shade that I have is GOLDEN RAISIN, which makes the color of the lipstick reddish-brown. On the lips, the lipstick glides easily. It is smooth and velvety. It doesn’t have any drying effect even after many hours. The product is creamy and shiny but the pigmentation is not that great. You need to apply 2-3 coats of the product to get the right color.

Fragrance – The lipstick has a distinctive fragrance. It does changes after you use it for a few months.

Experience – From the moment, I opened the packaging of the lipstick, I fell in love with it. The color, the texture, the gold shine, everything is just perfect. But it is a shade that might not look good on all skin tones, so before purchasing this, you need to be careful. Also, it is quite a dark shade, but it looks quite different in photos. It does live up to its name. It moisturizes your lips perfectly, looks extremely rich sitting on your lips and has a very pretty gold shine. The gloss comes off after some time, but the color remains intact. Also, the gold particles tend to spread a lot, so you need to be careful while applying this lipstick. It is a task to get this lipstick off, a lot of makeup remover might get used because the gold particles refuse to move from your lips.
