Walnuts are probably the most common ingredients found in everyday scrubs. Almost every well-known brand has a walnut or an apricot scrub. The nuts and the shell both have an abrasive texture which helps in scruffing off the dead skin. Biotique has a completely vegan walnut scrub that had all the right things in its ingredients that prompted me to go ahead with this buy.

What Does The Brand Claim

This exfoliating scrub is blended with pure walnut oil, rich in Vitamin A and lecithin, extracts of Neem, mint, fenugreek and red sandalwood to purify and polish skin texture. Sweeps away dry lines and leaves skin smooth, soft and spotlessly refreshed. Skin becomes more receptive to the benefits of future treatment.

How To Use

Massage on wet face and neck with fingertips. Avoid eye area. Rinse with water or damp washcloth. Use daily or as needed.

My Experience With Biotique Walnut Scrub the Best Face Scrub

Packaging- The walnut scrub comes in a tub packaging ( I know not very hygienic ) however the tub is totally cute and small if that makes one happy 😛

The lid shuts pretty tightly and there is no chance of leakage as the cap is a screw on one.

Texture and Consistency- The scrub is creamy and yet filled with gritty brown particles throughout.

Fragrance- It has a slight fragrance that doesn’t stay on the skin for long – the kind of light fragrance that you can detect on some creams.

Experience- Biotique has hit the nail with this scrub. The scrub has just the right amount of particles and just the right amount of cream to make your hands go about smoothly on your face. The particles are nicely spread throughout so the distribution is great too. The scrub has just the right amount of grit and friction and at the same time, the amount of cream that this scrub has enables me to give a smooth massage.

The scrub is abrasive and yet gentle too and it sloughs away all the dead skin nicely and doesn’t dry out my skin. Skin is really soft after scrubbing and at the same time, it feels hydrated too which is another good thing about this scrub. Some scrubs are good at removing the dead skin but they make the skin dry. This is not the case with the biotique scrub. I usually use it 3 times a week however it says that one can use it daily but I think no one should do that because of this isn’t exactly a light everyday scrub, it’s more of a PROPER exfoliating sort of a scrub.

Would I Repurchase and Recommend?

I think this is a great scrub which is affordable too and everyone should give it a shot because hey it’s all Vegan too 🙂 let’s exfoliate the skin the natural way. I loved this scrub and I think it’s on my list for repurchase too! *Happy with this*
