Bridal images and Makeup Trends: A girl deserves to look beautiful EVERY single day. But it’s her wedding day look that HAS to be the most special! I always recommend my brides to go for a look they have dreamed of and not to blindly follow the fashion trends. After all, it’s their wedding album and lifelong memory 🙂 That’s why I work with them on their trousseau and develop a look for each outfit and theme.
Still, trends cannot be totally ignored 😉
After gauging the pulse of the fashion and makeup trends this season, I have put together Three Very Doable Bridal Makeup Trends that you can use as a starting point- to look absolutely fabulous on your special day!
Table of Contents
Blushing Pink
This look was created keeping in mind the daytime bride. Pink eyeshadow is very much in vogue this year, but jewelry cannot be missed. So I have created a pastel meets jewel-toned eye makeup look for the blushing bride. Emerald and gold have been used on the eyes and the rest of the face has been given hues of pink.
A naturally glowing skin will make you look radiant during the day. Extended liner, white waterline, and a flush of pink on the cheeks. False lashes have been added to glam up and give an edge to the overall bridal look. You can blush in pink during the night time too! Just remember to add more drama to the eyes with heavy kohl and dolled up lashes!
Dramatically Royal
For the fashionista bride who is bold and not afraid to experiment. The smoky eyes are given a twist by using a deep cranberry shade instead of black with lots of gold glitter on the lid. The cherry on the cake is the trending cut crease with the golden glitter line.
Kohl on the waterline makes that much of a difference. This year is high on the glow. Strobing and highlighting the cheek will be much in vogue. This will balance the entire look. Lips have been kept dark reddish maroon. In a nutshell, this look is all about the drama and richness.
Glow in Gold
Perfect for a more contemporary look. This look has been created for the bride who loves to wear gowns and wants to achieve a more western look on her cocktail or reception. This look will stand out from the run of the mill bridal looks. We all know how gowns by the famous designer Gaurav Gupta in golds and whites and grays are in vogue. To achieve the right makeup look with such outfits this look has been done. Brown smoky eyes with a hint of gold on the lid are the high points of the look. Finished with satiny nude lips and hi glow on cheeks, this is super classy.
A final word of advice to the brides to be- Girl, get our game face on 😀 Plan each and every look and execute it to perfection. No compromise on looking drop dead gorgeous!
