Essence Mat Mat Mat Lipstick Kiss Me If You Can: Hello, lovelies! I’m here again with yet another lipstick review. I mean, who doesn’t love a really good lip color?! Today, I’m going to be reviewing one of the lipsticks from Essence’s new and bubbly range the Matt Matt Matt Lipstick collection. Essence cosmetics is Europe’s number one cosmetic brand and it provides brand new and cool products that help one bring out their inner diva. They have just come up with their new collection of matte lipsticks, today I am reviewing the Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipstick Kiss Me If You Can.

My experience with Essence Mat Mat Mat Lipstick Kiss Me If You Can

PACKAGING:

This lipstick comes in a usual cylindrical, rotatable tube, just like any other lipstick. It has a beautiful and bright red lid and on the bottom, it bears the shade number. On the side of the tube, we have the name of the shade. The lid does close tightly with a firm click so you don’t have worry about your lipstick getting damaged when you are traveling.

SHADE:

Now, let’s talk about the color. Personally, I was always afraid of red lipsticks because I always had a feeling it would be too bold for me that I’d stand out in a crowd in a completely awkward way. But this one was a definite life changer. This is just that perfect, wearable shade of classic red. It is a bright and peppy color, especially if you wear it with your classic black dress, it’s sure to turn a million heads your way. This would make the perfect shade for a sexy night out!

TEXTURE AND PIGMENTATION

The texture of this lipstick is actually quite creamy and its pigmentation made me really satisfied. Just one coat of application is well enough to give you that classic look you desired. But, you can always do two coats.

MY EXPERIENCE

I am super obsessed with lipsticks and I have always wanted to rock that red lips but never had the courage to. But with the Essence Matt Matt Matt lipstick, I think I would be able to change that.The application of the lipstick was easy. I didn’t have any problem with it as the texture did glide on my lips. It also has a super sweet fruity scent to it. After application, I immediately fell in love with the color and it gave me a perfect matte look!  I did have dry lips at that time but the lipstick didn’t make my lips look chunky,  they were just fine. The only thing that I’m not very happy about with this product is it’s staying power. It lasted well enough for about 3 hours and after that, I could see it fading away leaving behind a stain. That kinda disappointed me because I didn’t want stains or tints, I wanted a perfect red lip. Other than that, I couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

Would I Repurchase?

Maybe. Maybe not. I and indeed very happy with the color but I wish it stayed on me for longer.
