The shade “good earth” claims to give the perfect go-to nude lips which are a great lip shade for every occasion. It has a moisturization formula with it, which means it is not the perfect matte. But it doesn’t have any sort of shine which makes it almost matte. There are different kinds of matte in this lipstick line. I chose this because the others were either too light or too brownish.

How to use

Apply on lips using a lip filler brush and blend it. No need to press both the lips together as I have seen many girls do that. This practice doesn’t really help blend the lip shade.

This product is a really beautiful nude shade called “go earth”, which applies smoothly on the lips. Though it is not long lasting because it doesn’t have a staying formula mixed in it. I was very eager to try this product on but was not quite happy since it didn’t stay on my lips and made my lips chap and crack. It was a little sticky hence it attracted dirt towards it. But the color is just so perfect. Usually, I would recommend all the girls to use this shade when you do heavy eye makeup or when you are in a hurry and this is the only make-up that you would prefer you do.

SECRET TIP: 

Now to the secret tip to get the perfect nude lips. For those girls who have pigmented lips, apply a foundation (preferably the one you apply on your skin) on the lips lightly and blend it well. That will lighten the look of those pigmented lips. It shouldn’t appear obvious as if you have applied a cakey foundation on your lips, blend it well and apply your favorite nude shade and you are good to go!

Would I repurchase or recommend?

I wouldn’t really purchase this line from faces since it made my lips chap like crazy. The colors in this range are very beautiful but somehow, it didn’t suit my skin. I would give this product a 3/5 because it doesn’t stay for long and dries the lips even though it isn’t matte and also is very sticky. I would give a very neutral review about this because there is no doubt about the product pigment. I have chapped lips problem and because of this, the lipstick chapped my lips badly (pssst…I still use this product after applying the Neutrogena lip balm which makes my lips feel a little better, if not perfect)
