In winters, our lips require an extra special care which tends to get easily dried and chapped. A good layer of lip balms can help it make better. In my case, I have really dry lips which tend to get chapped in no time and I can feel the dryness on my lips. Its like when I am with lip balms, only then I can feel my lips.
So, this winter I decided to get a change from regular Maybelline lip balms and try from Himalaya range. I purchased Himalaya Herbals Natural Moisturising lip Butter this winter especially for its fragrance and I’m going to share my views on this. I hope you find it helpful =) .

My Experience with Himalaya Herbals Natural Moisturising lip Butter
Packaging- The Himalaya Lip Butter comes in a clear plastic tub with an aqua green screw lid. There is an extra white lid with a raised flap after the green cap, that means there are two lids to protect the product from leakage.
Colour and Texture- The color of the Himalaya moisturizing Lip Butter is off-white with a hint of yellow just like petroleum jelly. It has a soft creamy texture which is not sticky at all on lips. It glides over your lips like butter adding a sheen to it. The lip butter is not tinted and doesn’t leave any white residue on lips.
Fragrance- This Lip Butter has a fragrance of cocoa butter which is very yummy and it feels like eating while applying.
Experience– I have very dry lips which require lip balm every now and then, and this lip butter quite impressed me a lot. I like the fact that it does not have gloss which I personally don’t like in lip balms. The buttery texture keeps my lips moisturized for 3 hours and after meals, it tends to get removed and require re-application. Since this lip butter is not tinted, I wear it underneath my lipsticks and also at night time before sleeping I apply a good layer of this lip butter and I woke up with soft and plump lips.
The fact I don’t like about this product is that every time we have to apply it with our fingers and if sharing, it can be infected by bacteria. But it is clearly mentioned at the back ‘This is a personal care product and should be used by one individual only’.
