My Experience with Himalaya Herbals  Purifying Neem Facial Wipes

Packaging- These wipes are packed in a re-sealable plastic pouch. The pouch has an opening at the front to dispense the tissues. The plastic pack contains all the informative details, ingredient list, and usage guide. The packaging is very travel-friendly. It is available in two sizes; smaller pack contains 10 wipes while the bigger pack holds 25 wipes. I have purchased the bigger pack as the neem variant is favorite.

Colour & Texture- Neem facial wipes are 200x158mm soft cotton wipes. They are free from artificial colorants so they are pure white in color. They are soaked in colorless liquid but not drenched. I have used Johnson’s baby wipes before. These wipes have less cleaning liquid than Johnson’s ones. The quality of the cotton fabric is slightly gentler than the baby wipes.

Fragrance- The neem based wipes has a light medicinal yet herbal smell to it. The fragrance is a lot like the Neem face wash from Himalaya. The fragrance is mild and it stays 10-15 minutes.

Experience- Himalaya’s Neem range products suit my skin really well so I had high expectations from this wipe. Though it is not mentioned anywhere in the pack, this neem variant wipes would suit normal to oily skin best. If you have a pimple prone skin then this is the variant you should opt for. The neem wipes have been able to remove waterproof mascara, liquid lipstick, creamy lipstick, under eye concealer (as you can see in the before-after picture). I had to go over one place 5-6 times to get rid of the sticky makeup like mascara and liquid lipstick. It felt gentle enough on my facial skin. It gave a cooling feel as the liquid evaporated. The cooling effect was not like the effect provided by alcohol rich wipes. I have also tried this wipe on my oily and dirty face. It could remove the dirt without drying the skin. I would have loved it more if the wetness of the wipes were a bit more.

Himalaya Purifying Neem Facial Wipes are good quality wipes for freshening up the skin as well as removing makeup. The soft and gentle wipes did not irritate my skin. I would certainly repurchase these wipes again and again. I would suggest these wipes to someone with normal to oily skin that is searching for affordable makeup remover wipes.
