My experience with Kama Ayurveda Pure Lavender Water Face And Body Mist

Packaging

1 point for the packaging. It comes in a cute little spray bottle and the spray bottle can be used later on to store other products as well. The spray bottle is covered with a cap to avoid exposure to dirt and pollution.

Fragrance

As the name suggests, it has the fragrance of the lavender essential oil. Nothing fancy, just light lavender fragrance.  1 point for the pleasant fragrance as well.

Experience

There was a sale running on myntra where I came across this product and I had heard a lot about kama Ayurveda products so I thought of trying with the cheapest product first. The product arrived and I was extremely impressed with the fragrance and applied it on my face, neck, and hair as well. Within an hour, the fragrance was gone and I was disappointed. I reconsidered this product and thought of using this as a toner. I started using it after a bath. I didn’t really notice any kind of difference in my skin tone whatsoever. Girls, this product is not worth the hype, so please don’t buy it.

Overall performance of Kama Ayurveda Pure Lavender Water Face And Body Mist

Pros

  • Nice packaging
  • Pleasant fragrance
  • No preservatives
  • No colorants
  • No petrochemicals
  • No artificial fragrance

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Fragrance doesn’t stay for long
  • Nothing miraculous
  • Doesn’t really help as a toner
  • Not available easily

WARNING: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Keep away from children. Avoid contact with eyes, if contact occurs, rinse well with cool water.

Would I repurchase or recommend?

No, I wouldn’t really recommend this product or repurchase it. This product is a miss according to me since it doesn’t do anything miraculous, nor does the fragrance stay for a long time. So I would give this product a 2/5 only for the limited time fragrance and the packaging. This product is definitely not worth the price and many products in this brand are extremely expensive.  This product is one of those which doesn’t work. So girls, don’t buy this product.

Juhi-You always have the option of diy. Use lavender essential oil and distilled water. That’s it.

How can you say “Don’t buy the product” …it was your experience only…others may have different opinion. I am currently using this product…it’s good and acts as a toner well, specially compared to other toners in the market which are filled with chemicals. And the lavender fragrance is mild, because lavender scent can be overpowering if used too much. I like that it is mild in Kama. But Vetiver water is better I will say that and also Kama Rose water, but they are costlier compared to the Lavender one.
I have been using Kama Ayurveda products for 2 years now, and their kumkumadi oil has done wonders even for my oily-acne prone skin( I avoid the oil in peak summer months though)
