Lip balm is an essential item in every women’s handbag, especially in winter season. Today here I am going to review on Lotus Fruit Fusion Lip Balm. My present lip balm is running out and I do not want to repeat it. I want something new. Suddenly while busy in window shopping I found Lotus Herbal Fruit Fusion Lip Balm. Lotus Herbal is a well-known skincare/beauty product brand. And I am quite satisfied with their night cream and some other products. Moreover, I was deeply moved by its cute packaging though it is not at all hygienic. Actually, I bought it randomly.
Now it is time to take a look at the product in details.
How to use:
Apply evenly to lips as frequently as required. On the back side of the cardboard packaging, it is clearly mentioned that This is a personal care item, and should be used by one individual only.
Price: 135 INR
My Experience with the Lotus Fruit Fusion Lip Balm
Packaging: It comes in a very cute, eye-catching plastic jar/tub. The packaging is very heart stealing though not very hygienic. Because for using it every time I need to dip my finger into it. Apart from it, its packaging is also very sturdy you can carry it everywhere. As it is very small in size it very easily fits into your handbag. Therefore, in a nutshell, it comes in a very cute, sturdy and travel-friendly packaging.
Texture: It has a quite thick, wax-like texture. Therefore, it does not spread very easily on your lips. It also weighs down your lips. Moreover, you may face difficulty to dip your finger into the jar to get a decent amount of balm onto your finger.
Fragrance: It has a very mild fruity smell (Especially strawberry smell)
Colour: It is a light peach pink coloured lip balm. But it has no pigmentation. It only gives your lips shiny looks.
Experience: This fixed fruit lip balm has some impressive herbal ingredients like Almond oil, Jojoba oil, Wheatgerm oil that help to moisturize and nourish my dry lips very carefully. Though it does not stay very long. After every 2-3 hours, I need to reapply it. The best part of this balm is its fruity smell which I like the most. It slightly weighs down my lips and does not give any pigmentation. It is an average product with a great look. Moreover, it does not have any SPF contains.
Pros:
- It has a heart-stealing, sturdy and travel-friendly packaging
- It has some impressive herbal ingredients
- Great fruity smell
Cons:
- It has a great looking but unhygienic packaging
- Its texture is quite heavy and does not spread easily on lips
- It does not have any SPF contains
Would I repurchase or recommend it?
A big “No” for me. I am not at all happy with it. For me, it is an average product with overpriced.
