Phew, that’s a mouthful!It is extremely hard to find a good face wash for acne prone skin which works effectively especially when the acne is active. Lotus herbals is a brand I trust when it comes to skin care as their products work exceedingly well for affordable prices. The whole world is slowly steering towards organic and natural products and it applies to beauty products as well. So let’s see how this face wash fared for me.

The active ingredient used in this product is tea tree oil which is a powerful anti-microbial and anti-oxidant, anti-acne, fights skin infection, cinnamon which is anti-microbial and anti-oxidant.

How to apply:

Squeeze a small quantity on the wet palm of your hand, apply on wet face with circular motions, wash off, use regularly mornings and evenings.

My experience with the Lotus Herbals Teatreewash Anti Acne Oil Control Face Wash:

We all know the importance of tea tree in reducing acne and any other skin inflammation. So when I spotted this I picked this up immediately. This is my fifth tube which says how much I adore this product. The face wash comes in a neat, fuss-free packaging. It has tiny beads which do a good job of cleansing the skin. It smells of cinnamon and tea tree primarily. The quantity is pretty decent for the price.

I use this face wash whenever I have acne and sometimes even when I don’t as it does a fantastic job in cleansing skin without drying out. Now coming to the exciting part, this face wash actually reduces mild pimples. It shrinks them and lessen the redness. I tested this out on small pimples and it worked well. I did not use any other treatment as I believe that sometimes the pimple just needs to breathe rather than loading with products.

It is an amazing product which does exactly what it claims. It prevents the formation of new pimples as well.

Would I recommend?

Yes, I highly recommend this face wash for troubled skin and I will repurchase this product until I find a better one. It is a staple for me now.
