I am reviewing my first Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour shade MAC Personal Statement Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolor that was gifted on my birthday by my sister. It is a bold shocking pink in color.

The line of range it belongs to has 15  shades.

Price:

Rs 1800 for 5ml.

Usage:

1. Apply directly onto lips using applicator.
2. Only suitable for use on lips.

My experience with MAC Personal Statement Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolor

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour is a matte range of lip-gloss by MAC. It has a very creamy and smooth texture and glides on the lips easily. I also hydrate my lips very well as these are matte so they tend to dry up the lips and make it look flaky.

The applicator makes it easy to use as it is in a diamond shape and reach out all the corners of our lips and cupid bow. It is highly pigmented and opaque but I find it really patchy. It has a food staying power, which is approximately 6 hours.

The liquid lip color packing is pretty. The top is similar to the bullet-shaped lipsticks head and the body shows the color of the shade the bottle consists.

The color is very bold for me to carry, as it is completely matte and opaque. I have dusky skin so it pops up so much it makes me very uncomfortable to wear.

This pink color is very appealing and will suit fair skin beauties.

Would I repurchase?

I would not repurchase this particular shade but opt for a shade, which would suit me because it is well pigmented and the range of shades really attracts. Overall the product is good but the shade did not suit me.
