By now, I’m hoping that all of you’ll know how obsessed I am with lipsticks. Most of the time, that’s all that I’m talking about.
Recently, I did a lipstick review and once I was done, I was just passing my time by browsing through the shades. It was at that time that I decided to count the number of shades that I had…and I have to say, I was rather upset about it. I had only about 32 lipsticks in bullet form, maybe about 5 in pan form. And for a makeup artist, that’s literally nothing. It was then that I decided to go on a shopping spree and get hold of some new shades. But, me being me, I was too lazy to head out. So I did the easiest thing that I could, pulled out my phone, and went onto the Nykaa app and started browsing. In a few minutes, I had selected some shades I liked and placed the order. One of the shades is the Maybelline Rebel Bouquet 05 Lipstick.

My experience with the Maybelline Rebel Bouquet 05 Lipstick
I’ve used a lot of Maybelline products in the past and I must say that it’s really good. Quality is great and it’s easy on the pocket. Maybelline is probably one of the best drugstore brands that we have in
India.
The packaging of the Rebel Bouquet-05 is simple but so nice. The bullet comes in a silver casing with a see through orange cover. The number code for the shade is mentioned on a sticker at the bottom of the lipstick, which is not convenient. I wish it had a name to it, as it’s easier to remember. Like most other creamy lipsticks, this one too glides on smoothly. When just one coat of it is applied, it gives a very lip gloss like the sheer look, which I love. However, the gloss washes off during a meal but it leaves a stain. If a few coats are applied, it definitely does last longer but eventually settles into a matte. I really wish it didn’t because the gloss effect looks lovely. I read a couple of reviews before picking this shade up..some of them mentioned that it feels dry on the lips. But, I didn’t feel that at all. The feel on the lips is just that of what a lip gloss would feel like. After a few coats, the lipstick lasted for a good 5 hours and after I took it off, it left a stain. Also, if you sniff closely at the bullet, it has a mild fragrance to it.

I’m not sure about whether the stain that it leaves behind is a positive or negative.
