Basic Info About Maybelline the Colossal Kajal Super Black Review
What is it and who is it for?
Maybelline Colossal Kajal Super Black is an auto Kajal pencil with dark pigmentation and super black finish. The Colossal Kajal tended to smudge slightly by the end of the day but the Colossal Super Black supposedly dries up in 60 seconds after application. Or so the sales lady told me.
Now I’m all for a Kajal that claims to be smudge-proof and doesn’t make me look like a koala or like I haven’t slept in 11 weeks, so I was all for trying this out.

What does the brand claim about Maybelline the Colossal Kajal Super Black?
With light absorbing pigments, this formula delivers 2 times more blackness for double intensity
Enriched with oils this formula brings you super smooth application, it glides effortlessly and evenly to define perfect eyes
Waterproof and smudge proof this formula stays intense for 16 hours
Ophthalmologically tested, this formula suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens users
How to use?
It’s pretty basic. The Kajal is applied on the bottom waterline as well as the top waterline. I find that application on the top waterline enhances the outline of the eye. The Kajal can also be used as an eye liner. I’ve noticed that most kajal are a bit stiff to apply on as an eyeliner but this Kajal slid on really easy.
My experience with Maybelline the Colossal Kajal Super Black:
It does stay true to its name. The Kajal does dry in 60 seconds and is long lasting. It glides easily and it’s darker than Colossal Kajal. This Kajal achieves the signature Indian Kohl look most women aim to achieve. It is also easy to remove and the consistency is even and soft unlike most other kajal. I felt like I could easily transition from a day to night look with this Kajal.
