My Experience with MUA Lipstick- Shade 1

Packaging

The packaging is standard. The product comes in a black retractable stick applicator. There is a lipstick bullet along with a tiny transparent container at the bottom with the same lipstick which shows the shade. It can use to line the lips with a lip brush.

Colour & Texture

The color is a deep red. It is opaque, one swipe does the job. This shade would suit all skin tones. It is of creamy consistency with a glossy finish. It is smooth in texture and does not dry out the lips. The lipstick is buildable. Applying a few coats would blend in together.

Pigmentation

This lipstick is much pigmented. It is a darker shade of red. It leaves a gorgeous stain after. The color stays on for quite a while, later touch up is required.

Experience

When it comes to red lipstick I like dark red shades. This shade does its magic on all skin tones. It is of a creamy consistency and stays on lips for 2-3hours. I like the stained look, so I apply two coats of lipstick and blot it with tissue. This leaves a gorgeous stain. It has a mild fragrance. The color may bleed. It is recommended to use a similar color lip liner to avoid smearing. Overall, the lipstick is good.

Yes, I would recommend this product. If you like dark lips and stained looks go for it. But if you prefer matte finished lipsticks or long-lasting ones, this product is not for you.
I would like to repurchase this very lipstick in a different shade.
