My Experience with NYX Soft Matte lip Cream 01 Amsterdam:
Amsterdam is a tangerine red color. It brightens up the face and looks intense on the lips. It comes in a plastic tube with a black cap. The packaging looks good. The tube is small which makes it very handy to carry in a purse or even in your jeans pocket. It has an inbuilt applicator like that of a gloss which is soft in application and helps the product spread evenly on the lips. The best things about this product are firstly, it is much pigmented comes opaque on the lips. Secondly, though it gives a matte finish but on application it is very soft like a cream. Thirdly, it is long lasting 5-6 hours on my lips. Though the color keeps on fading with time but the pigment remains on the lips. Since these are matte finish your lips should not be dry, they must be properly nourished. It’s better to apply after a lip balm application. On application the texture feels like silk. The fragrance is of vanilla which good and soothing to the senses.
Apply directly, get a matte finish.
Apply on a lip balm, get a semi matte finish.
Apply on a lip balm and finish with a gloss, get a glossy finish.
One of its kind product which is neither a lipstick nor a gloss, but a creamy matte lip color. It has a fun to apply texture.
