My experience with Revlon Trendsetter Lipstick
Packaging
It comes in a transparent packaging with the color of the lipstick showing on the bottom part of the packaging. It has a twist up mechanism which is sturdy and makes it travel-friendly.
Color and texture
The name of the shade is “trendsetter” and it has a soft, creamy texture which settles into a matte shade. This shade is a beautiful red color which can be worn by anyone.
Fragrance
It smells like a mixture of flowers and chemicals, not sure which fragrance is prominent though.
Experience
This was the other shade which I purchased along with the shade “supermodel”. I purchased this shade since I love red colored lipsticks. This shade is a creamy matte red color, which is more of a fiery red than the deep red. This is an all-time wear kind of shade and I will put down my experience here. It is easy to apply this lipstick as it glides like butter and settles comfortably on the lips. It is lightweight too. But after an hour or so, it starts to dry the lips like crazy and feathers out too. Also, it cracks the lips and makes the lips flake out too. The shade fades after heavy meals but doesn’t bleed. It transfers to an extent and smudges as well. With all this, it stays for around 4 to 5 hours but the regular usage of this lipstick might cause pigmentation on the lips. Even though this is a classic red shade, I wouldn’t want to use this one. Also, it is difficult to remove this lipstick and leaves behind light red stains if not removed properly. In all, I didn’t really like this product and wouldn’t recommend it.

Would I repurchase or recommend?
No, I wouldn’t recommend this product and wouldn’t repurchase it
Rating: 2/5 (1 extra point for the really pretty color)
Glossypolish verdict: This product from Revlon is not recommended if you want to protect your lips from getting pigmented or stained. This product does stay long, but it feathers and dries out the lips which are not at all desirable.
