Home Remedies for Blackheads: Blackheads are pretty much common among all especially teen girls. Tried all the face creams, facewashes, face scrubs? Now time for some natural way of getting rid of these irritating and ugly black spots. Blackheads result out of ingrown hair on the face due to excess release of oil or some other factor. Try these natural home remedies for removing blackheads.
# Cinnamon
This nice smelling ingredient from the kitchen creates a great face mask for removing those ugly black bumps on the face.
For this, make a paste of 2 parts of cinnamon powder with honey.
Let it on for a couple of minutes. Peel it off after when it starts getting dry.
Wash off and apply some good moisturizer.
Use this remedy on alternate days.
# Turmeric
No doubt, turmeric has always been in the good books for skin problems. Now again, I recommend you to prefer turmeric for the blackhead removal. Since you know its an antioxidant, this is what makes it work against blackheads.
Take a handful of turmeric and mix it with coconut oil. This can do great. Apply it on your face. Let your face soak in every bit.
After 10-15 minutes, wash it off with warm water. The results would be visible soon.
# Steam
Yes!! Steam! No added chemicals. Just boiled water and your face. And you’re there! Steam would eventually soften the black heads and they may gently peel out.
In a big pot, boil up water. Let it boil unless it starts releasing a pretty good amount of steam.
Now cover your face with a towel and put your face in the steam. Make sure the steam doesn’t come out of the towel. Be careful that you do not come in contact with the hot water or you’ll burn yourself up. Let your face soak in the steam till the temperature cools down. After the process, you’ll notice your face has become really soft and moist. Taking a wipe, remove the unwanted zits and blackheads on your face.
# Lemon & Baking soda
Lemon contains citric acid, which helps in removing dead and dry skin. Lemon too is an anti-oxidant which controls the blackheads.
Baking soda being an antiseptic is again helpful for removing blackheads.
Mix both of the ingredients and make a paste. Apply on your face. Let it dry for a couple of minutes. Scrub it off and wash off with lukewarm water.
