My Experience With Sugar Princess Peach Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick
Packaging- The lipstick comes in a crayon form and has a cap which might be a bit lose for carrying purposes. A couple of times my lipstick has been smeared in the purse itself. So be a bit careful with that. The product also comes with a free sharpener to effectively get the most of the product
Texture and Consistency- Even though the lipstick is a matte one it doesn’t dry out your lips at all. The formula is very comfortable as its matte and yet not drying and not even bleeding.
Fragrance- No noticable fragrance as such.
Experience– Okay let me tell you about this shade first. It is a peach but not a loud one. Sugar claims it as *My lips but better* which I think is pretty apt. The color looks so natural with your daytime look and can just brighten up your face without making it look washed out. In the daytime, it looks best on a natural face and at night its good enough for all those smoky eyes you want to have at the parties. The color payoff is really nice and its pigmented enough to hide your minor lip pigmentation. The lipstick becomes matte after 5 minutes of application and it doesn’t dry out your lips at all. In fact, the product is a bit too creamy on the application so all of that sharpened nip just goes off too quickly. Plus sharpening the product takes away a lot of product too.
Exfoliation is a must when you apply the lipsticks from this range because it will highlight any imperfect skin of your lips and also it sort of starts clumping if you layer it too much. The pigmentation is heavy so avoid layering but just keep the exfoliation in mind 🙂
It stays on for 3-4 hours and then fades away evenly giving a very natural look.
Pros -
- Beautiful color
- High color payoff
- Pigmented enough
- Stays for long
- Fades evenly
Cons-
- Might clump and come off in bits if layered and applied on lips that aren’t exfoliated and smooth.
Would I Repurchase and Recommend?
Oh yes, it is a lovely shade and is my cult favorite for the everyday light look and it just makes you look fair and lovely and nice 😛
