Today I am up with the review of Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Restore Non-greasy Lotion. Vaseline’s wide range of body moisturizers has never disappointed me. For me, they have kept their claims so far. This particular variant, that I am reviewing today, was a gift from my aunt I received last month. Though I have purchased almost all the variants quite a few times, I have found myself inclining to this Deep Restore one for the harsh winters. This lotion scores 3 out of 4 in Vaseline’s scale of richness as seen on the front side of the lotion bottle. Naturally, the formula is going to be quite nourishing. My Experience with Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Restore Non-greasy Lotion

Packaging- This lotion is packaged in a light yellow plastic bottle with a slightly darker yellow color flip-top cap. The squeeze-ease bottle is quite similar to other body lotions from Vaseline in shape and other attributes. The front side of the pack contains a moisturizing capability chart along with the basic claims, product name and a graphical representation of the ‘micro-droplets’ of Vaseline jelly. The backside, however, has all the detailed information. This product mentions complete ingredient list, which is a great pro for me. Overall, the packaging is nice and sturdy with no chances of product wastage. The size of the bottle may feel bulky to carry but there are smaller travel-friendly sizes available for this variant.

Colour & Texture- This Oatmeal enriched lotion is pure white in color. It has dense and creamy texture as mentioned by the company. Still, the product is very easy to apply on the skin. It takes only a few seconds to get absorbed into my skin without leaving any oily residue.

Fragrance- This body moisturizer has a floral smell to it. I am not a big fan of the fragrance but do not hate it for sure. The fragrance is not long staying or overpowering so no one is going to get headaches I think!

How I use It- In the winter months, I make it a point to apply this lotion two times a day; once in the morning after taking a shower and once again at night before retiring to the bed. From my experience I can say, this product works best when it is applied on slightly damp towel dried skin. Since the monsoon in our place is quite humid, this lotion feels a bit heavy. So, I am applying it on the days when my skin is in urgent need of extra nourishment.

I find Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Restore Non-greasy Lotion to be a star product of my vanity. It is a fuss-free body lotion that fulfills all the claims. Its creamy formula provides enough moisture to dry skin to make it plump. It is able to heal my skin from flaky dryness without making it greasy.
