The change of seasons is here, and with winters comes dry skin. Sometimes in a rush of taking care of our face, we forget about the body in winters. I get that the body is hidden underneath all the clothes but that doesn’t really mean we can stop taking caring of it! The VLCC Almond Honey Body Lotion is a decent rescue from the flaky and dry skin. I personally have very dry skin so I can’t survive without a good lotion especially during winters. This was my second product from VLCC; I have also used their rose water. I think VLCC has set a bar for the quality of their products.

My Experience with VLCC Almond Honey Body Lotion
The lotion has a round and white bottle, with a nozzle on top. When you will use it for the first time you will have to slide the nozzle to the left to break the lock. After that, you can continue to use it normally, by pressing the nozzle. The body is made of plastic so it’s safe to travel with, but only if you have secured the nozzle. Otherwise, the lotion can leak.
The lotion is definitely neither too greasy nor runny. The consistency is just perfect and exactly what I look for in lotions. The lotion is white in color and gets absorbed easily into the skin leaving it bouncy.
The ingredients claim to have honey and almonds but also a lot of chemicals, which can be harmful to the body and damage to the skin.
It surely nourishes the skin, leaving it glowing and youthful. But the lotion is not sufficient for the whole of 24 hours. The moisture can fade away within 6 to 8 hours. So the product has to be applied at least twice a day for extremely dry skin. People with normal-dry skin are good to go in just 1 application for the whole day
As the name suggests, the lotion smells of honey and almonds. The fragrance, though artificially is nice, it’s not too strong, nor mild. It’s also super refreshing. I personally really like the fragrance because it’s a good break from all the mainstream flower-smelling lotions.
VALUE FOR MONEY?
The price I think is not really cheap. It is slightly on the higher range, but it is a good quality product. You can find this product on a 1+1 scheme in a lot of malls, so if you do find it in that scheme, then it’s a STEAL.
