Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Volcanic Cluster

Price:

₹150 for 10ml

How to use?

Apply an adequate amount of clay after washing your face. Let it stay for 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

My experience with Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Volcanic Cluster

Packaging:

The clay mask comes in a small brown plastic container with a lid. Upon removing the lid, one has to tear the seal to use the clay mask. It’s like a sample pack. Due to its small size, it happens to be the perfect companion for traveling.

Texture and Fragrance:

The texture is smooth and paste-like with a matte finish. It has a beige shade. It has a soft clayish fragrance with a hint of sweetness.

Consistency:

It is thick and clayey inconsistency, It spreads evenly, One layer of the application is enough to get results.

My experience:

The texture is extremely smooth and it spreads like butter on a damp face. It has a faint clayey fragrance. The pack is extremely effective. I’ve used plenty of products by Innisfree but the capsule masks always take the cake. This one in particular controls the secretion of the excess sebum, my face looked fresh and radiant after the application. Its effects lasted for 3-4 days.
Unlike most of the clay masks, this one dries quickly. It gives a light stretchy feeling but does not cause any discomfort. The mask is to be washed off ten minutes after it’s application, and ten minutes is more than sufficient for this mask to work its magic.
My face turns quite oily during summers and this product worked wonders in controlling the zits and pimples. It not only reduced the acne but also left my skin super fresh.

What I liked about the product:
  1. Compact
  2. Reduces acne
  3. Leaves the skin soft and clean
  4. Effects last for a few days
  5. Easily washes off with water
What I did not like about the product:
  1. It may seem a bit pricey to some people because of its small quantity.
Would I repurchase the product?

I love this product, it is compact and travels friendly. It worked quite well with my skin, I’ll surely buy it again.

BBlunt High Definition Curl

BBlunt High Definition Curl Review

by Mansi Topa

What is this? BBlunt High Definition Curl Is a Curl-Defining leave-in cream is perfect for enhancing the curls and it also tames the frizz.

BBlunt High Definition Curl

Who is it for?

Mostly for people with curly hair.

Price:

₹550 for 150gm

How to use?

Apply a coin-sized amount of cream on damp hair from the roots to the ends. Scrunch the hair to give maximum effect.

My Experience with BBlunt High Definition Curl

Packaging:

The product comes in a pink colored plastic bottle with a pump. It looks quite pretty.
The pump surely makes it convenient for use. Plus the nozzle comes with a lock so there is absolutely no spillage and it’s perfect for traveling.

Texture and Fragrance:

The texture is smooth and creamy. It is white in color. The fragrance is lovely! Though it surely doesn’t smell like some natural oils.
The fragrance is long lasting.

Consistency:

The consistency is thick and smooth. It spreads evenly and does not leave behind an oily residue.

My experience:

I have thick and curly hair, it’s quite difficult to manage them especially ever since I got them cut. I’ve been using this product for almost three months and to be honest, it did work well with my curls. It beautifully defines the hair texture. My curls look shiny and there is absolutely no frizziness. It effects last for 2-3 days and so does its fragrance.
For best results apply the cream on wet hair. I’ve tried using it on dry hair and even that worked pretty well.

The best part is that this product isn’t just mean for people with curly hair, my best friend uses this product as a part of her hair curling routine and it makes her curls stay for almost 4-5 hours which is pretty decent for her hair type.

But just like any other hair product, using it too often leads to hair fall. And same is the case with this leave-in cream as it does contain chemicals.

What I liked about the product:
  • Defines the curls
  • Reduces the frizz
  • Makes the hair shiny
  • Effects last for a few days
  • The fragrance is lovely!
What I did not like about the product:
  • A bit pricey
  • It will cause hair fall if used regularly
Would I repurchase the product?

Yes, most likely. I love this product, it is effective and travels friendly. It worked quite well with my hair texture.

3.5/5

Sephora Vanilla Moisturizing Body Lotion

Who is it for? Sephora Vanilla Moisturizing Body Lotion is a  light moisturizing lotion for the people with normal skin as it keeps the skin hydrated all day long.

Sephora Vanilla Moisturizing Body Lotion

Price:
Rs 830
How to use?

It can be used as a daily product to provide instant nourishment.

My experience with Sephora Vanilla Moisturizing Body Lotion:

Packaging:

The body comes in a cream colored bottle with a pump which makes it convenient for use.

Texture and Fragrance:

The texture is extremely smooth, it leaves the skin soft and supple. The fragrance is just lovely. The mild fragrance of Vanilla is quite enticing.

Consistency:

It does have a thick and creamy consistency, but luckily it provides just enough moisturization without causing the skin to turn oily and sticky.

My experience:

The texture is extremely smooth, it melts into the skin instantly after application. Its fragrance is oh so tempting! For the past few months, I’ve been ridiculously enticed by the fragrance of vanilla. And I had been searching for the right product.

This lotion did put an end to my search, It’s good for the people with normal skin, it leaves the skin soft and supple. Its nourishment lasts for quite some time. But, it might not a good option for the people with dry skin.

It is dermatologically tested and it is paraben free.

What I liked about the product:
  1. It has a lightly scented fragrance! It lasts for a good amount of time.
  2. Its thick consistency makes easier to handle. It’s not at all runny.
  3. The smoothest texture, It ensures an easy application.
  4. It is Non-oily and Non-sticky. Unlike the oily residue that’s often left behind by the thick moisturizing lotions, this one instantly penetrates the skin without leaving an oily film.
  5. The bottle comes with a pump which makes it easier to use.
What I did not like about the product:
  1. A bit pricey
  2. The light moisturizing might not be enough for people with extremely dry skin. They might have to apply it again since its effects won’t last for all day long.
Would I repurchase the product?

Maybe. I did like the product, but it is a bit overpriced.
