My Experience With Ayush Thick & Long Growth Shikakai Shampoo
Packaging:
Comes in a white bottle with a flip cap
Texture and Consistency:
Creamy, shiny brown, thick
Fragrance:
Pleasant smell
Experience :
Just by the feel and texture, I can say it is a mild shampoo. It has no sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) which is obvious for a herbal shampoo like this one. I generally use it after oiling my hair with coconut oil and keeping it for at least 4 hrs before the hair-wash. It lathers up just by a single application (I use a sachet amount). So I don’t feel the need to redo it. The fragrance is amazing. I have used other herbal shampoos but the smell is not as pleasant as this one so plus points for that. Though, it lasts only for a day. Talking about the much-emphasized claims about thicker and longer hair, my hair growth is just at a normal pace. So here’s where I did not see any magic. BUT BUT BUT…I agree that my hair-fall reduced to some extent. I am really happy about that. So, Miss Shikakai and Mr.Bhringamalakadi Tailam are doing a great job according to my opinion.
Pros –
- Great fragrance
- Affordable
- Easily available
- Prevents hair-fall ( At least that’s what it did to me)
Cons-
- The fragrance doesn’t last
Would I repurchase and recommend?
Yes and yes. We all know that herbal products are safe but they take some time to act.I have used this shampoo for about a month now. But I would like to buy it again and see for at least 4-5 months to see if it really stands up to its claims and improves my hair texture. I would definitely recommend this shampoo to all men and women.

Hello,
I would strongly recommend to make people blindly choose Ayush Herbal Shampoo. I became a great lover :love of this shampoo. As this is for sure going to benefit you from hair fall problems. I tried so many shampoos changed oil to get rid of Dandruff but I am fortunate I found Ayush which made me completely get rid of Dandruff in just 4 washes. Please make a try :balleballe !!
