Hi, my beauties,
Today I am going to review a product that we all love, a highlighter and we have the Colourpop Pressed Powder Highlighter today. I bought it through an Instagram page and I got in almost 11 to 15 days which I think is pretty reasonable. Let’s see how it turned out.

My experience with the Colourpop Pressed Powder Highlighter :
Sad news first, my little sister actually spoiled the whole pressed powder look of the pan by digging her nails into it and then shouting “Oh, its shiny di”. So excuse the picture if they look a bit weird. Thankfully the highlighter was okay and as good as earlier.
Packaging: It comes in a white compact with colour pop pressed powder written on the top of it. It has a mirror inside. You get the pan and the compact differently and you put the pan in the compact. There is no shade name or ingredients mentioned in anything. The ingredients are mentioned on the site though. One thing I would like to mention is that it has a very breakable packaging like it fell from my hand on my bed and the whole pan came out of the compact as it is, imagines if it was the floor in the place of the bed(scary).
Experience: The highlighter has a very creamy texture. It’s not at all powdery or glittery. It is not one of those “in your face” type highlighter which I although love but I was looking for a more daily wear glowy skin type of highlighter and I am glad I bought this one. I apply it with a brush and it sits on the face very nicely. It gives a beautiful sheen to the face. It stayed on my face for good 5 hours after which it faded away. I don’t mind this as I don’t really use a foundation all over my face to act as a base for the highlighter. I have tried to set it in place with some setting spray and it has for sure increased it’s staying power.
All in all, I think it is a very good daily wear highlighter.
Overall Performance of Colourpop Pressed Powder Highlighter
Pros:
- Travel-friendly yet easily breakable packaging
- Creamy texture
- Glides on the face easily
- Not at all powdery or chunky
- Stays on for a good amount of time( use setting spray if you want to increase the longevity)
- Gives a beautiful glow to the face
Cons:
- Not super glowy highlighter
- Of course, unavailability in India
- Might be costly if you order directly from site
Overall will I recommend and repurchase it?
For repurchasing, I’d say no because there are too many new products to try it and I don’t think I’ll be able to finish it so soon and as far as recommending it do give it a try if you want a subtle glow to your face, you can buy it off through Instagram shops but if you are looking for something extra, I’d say this is not the product for that.
