They not only add a sort of gloss to your lips but also make them look brighter than when you wear only a lipstick.It’s true that not all lip glosses help to moisturize your lips besides doing its usual work. That is the reason why you need to pick and choose while buying a lip gloss. I recently bought the Freedom Lip Gloss in the shade Pro Melts up. I had pretty high expectations because Freedom  Makeup has always been one of the brands I love when it comes to makeup.So let’s see how this Freedom Makeup Pro Melts Up Freedom Lip Gloss worked for me!

My Experience with Freedom Makeup Pro Melts Up Freedom Lip Gloss

Packaging

This lip gloss comes in a long tube bottle with a white lid. The application wand is attached to the inner side of the lid. The bottle is the color of the shade, which is a nudish pink. It has a sturdy and hygienic packaging and therefore travel-friendly.

Texture, Colour, and Consistency

The Freedom Pro Melts Lip Gloss in the shade pro melts up seemed like a nude color to me when I bought it. But once I applied it on my lips, it turned out to be a light nudish pink. But that isn’t an issue for me because even then, the shade is quite pretty.

But unlike other lip glosses, this one does not give a glossiness or shine to the lips. Instead, it has the formula of a cream lipstick. It is very similar to the Miss Claire Lip Cream that I’ve already reviewed on the website before.

It has a creamy texture. It doesn’t dry out the lips and feels light and comfortable.

Fragrance

The product does not have a fragrance of its own.

Effects

I expected much more from this lip gloss. Firstly, I didn’t expect this one to work like a liquid lipstick. I bought it because I was looking for a lip gloss and not a lip cream. Secondly, there is transference. I don’t like lip products that transfer because it is a hassle. The more it transfers the lesser it is visible on the lips. But the good part is that it doesn’t dry out my lips at all. It is very comfortable. It also makes the lips soft to some extent.  But this one is also slightly expensive for a lip gloss that ultimately doesn’t work like a lip gloss at all.

So all in all, this one was a disappointment for me, even though it does have some good effects.

I would recommend this for those of you who do not have a problem with reapplication or the fact that this doesn’t actually work like a lip gloss.

As for me, I’m definitely not purchasing this a second time.
